Crash on windows mobile screen

Hey,
Thanks t yourselves i had upgraded my MDA3 to the black and blue version of windows about a month or so back. Everything was fine till this morning when it wouldnt send a text. i reset the phone and now it hangs at the swirly windows mobile screen on startup. Ive tried a couple of things reflashing etc but as i cant active sync i cant replace any rom onit. Also ive just tried the sd card method. I put just the reqired file from the artimus update on the card renamed it and booted up the device using record andreset button. all i get is a flash of a screen i cant reed and afterthat four colored bars with some numbers on the top. Any suggestions...i cant even take it to tmob as its a different startupscreen, but then this has to be expected.

Ifanyone can give some advise as im not sure how to approach this now?

Get the phone back into Bootloader mode, (The screen with the coloured stripes you saw before), by holding the voice record button whilst soft-resetting.
Go to the Artemis Windows Mobile 6 forum and select one of the ROM's by Meschle of your choice, download it and flash it to your artemis while it is connected to your PC in Bootloader mode.

Ive done whats mentioned but i cant seem to get the thing to flash. In the bootloeader mode active sync isnt realising that the mda is there. windows seeis it and i can see it attatched to my computer but not even a sniff from active sync. Ive tried it on both fresh install of xp and vista. any more tips or am i doing somthing stupid?

If you tried to enable tray icons from Battery Status app then this is your problem. With WM6 and Battery Status never do so. It 's a known bug.
