maybe somebody could confirm that wifi cards that worked in wm5 works in wm6?
i mean the step from wm5 to 6 was much smaller then the step from wm2003SE to wm5

oh yeah... MUCH smaller :D

Well, sure, we should build a compatibility list...

it is much smaller being based on CE 5.2
wm5 being based on CE5
and wm2003se being based on CE4

I use the Socket Com E300 on WM5 Hima PH10A, with the WM2003 drivers.
SDIO is not driven the same way on WM5 the why i first install WM5 drivers and the the WM2003 drivers!
I haven't tried it yet on WM6

Hi,

My Sandisk Wifi/b Card without Memory is working after pushing the Reset.
Eject the card and reinsert it is not working you have to reset again. Is there any better driver out there? My one is from the year 2003.

I have a Socket Com E300!
I installed WM5 drivers => nothing
I installed WM2003 drivers + reset (no soft reset like with psshutXP) => OK
I think this issue is more coming from WM6, isn't it ?

reset (no soft reset like with psshutXP)

What do you mean by "reset"? Hard reset? Or just sticking your stylus into the hole?...

Did you install any driver?
I never succeeded to make it work on my previous WM5 release so I hope it will work under WM6, not tested at all.

Thanks.

I tried two different types of sd-wlan cards, both works perfectly!
Spectec wlancard a/b (but the plastic was broken after a few usage)
JustMobile SDW11G it is a very fast card, i suggest you!
Both card has wm5 driver which works correctly.

I use the Spectec 802.11g SD Card. I think its model ends in 821. It's a blue SD card.
I just used the CD provided with it and it installed drivers for it on my phone perfectly. The card actually works better under WM6 then it did under WM2003SE.

For the reviews please ask to uncle google directly
But I recommend for this brand for one reason. The company give update for the driver. I have observed several brands, and they don't care with their products. They don't upgrade the driver even they stop it and push the people who have their product to migrate forcefully to the newer one. :) For the capability I am sure not much different from one WLAN card to another in the same type :)

i think the 820 is WLAN B only whereas the SPECTEC SDW 821 is WLAN B and G so its better. and use the WM5/WM2003 drivers, coz i when used the WM6 drivers, it doesnt work.

but with the old wm2003/wm 5 drivers...PERFECT working condition.

Hello all,
I can't confirm that SD wireless card justMobile SDW11g is working with tofclocks WM6 rom. Drivers relate to WM 5. I downloaded them here:www.mobis.com.tw/products.htm. There is no reaction at all, the card is not seen and therefore no wireless utility pops up. Reviews describe the card as easy to configure - so I wonder whether I should test it with a WM5 Rom.
Greetings

Hi, I use German Rom and Pluscom SD Card.
http://www.pluscom.cn/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=12&SID=54e6e5zdc96ce24c141e4ab17e55171c
It uses the same driver as in WM2k3 called SDW11G, so I think itīs a Clone of JustMobile Card using the same WLan module an OEM Product of Socket Mobile.
It worked with Syed Athers WM6 Pro, but didnīt got internet data with 6.1 Aku 1.0 also connected with my WLan Router. Funny, isn`t it. Didnīt solve the problem, because I finally switched to German ROM:
http://rapidshare.de/files/38610887/WM6ger.zip.html
connected to my Medion-Router started opera 8.65 and made a speedtest on www.wieistmeineip.ce. (change c with d)
And here is the amazing result on my 20kbit ISP Connection: 5689kbps down und 659kbs up
I saved it and it can be reproduced. I would not have believed it, but itīs real.
I wanted to by a 2020i because of the build in WLan, but got two XDA II and one Qtek 2020 without purpose. They all work great, after flashing. The Pluscom 54mbps SD-Card getīs two thumbs up and is worth the cost. (about 33€)
Optimized settings and itīs faster then ever, see attachment.

Hi I am trying to get my SanDisk SDWSDB-000 SD WiFi card to work with Chandra Shekhar's WM 6.1 Pro ROM 6.1.1c16CS 02/26/08. I have tried the 2003SE Driver & the earlier one with no success. i am worried that my WiFi card has stopped working, as others here claim to have the SanDisk card working. When i place the card into the SD slot, I get no green light activity at all.

Thanks msimmo
