Finally I have Touch which works for other network, See the attached image.

Instructions are very simple

a) Follow the Instructions.txt given in the zip package.
b) Switch off your phone
c) Remove the SIM and insert a new SIM with other operator
d) Switch on
e) It will ask for the Unlock code, Enter the eight digit code besides your IMEI

BTW, I am the whole-n-sole designer of this unlocker..( even the zip file name for that matter..hehehe :o) )...and yes, when I gave it to someone, I knew it would very soon be posted as someone else's solution.So, I kept the final release with me...and name the result code file as 'unlock_result.exe'....hehehe.. it's actually a .bin file.

Cannot agree with you more...actually that was a knee-jerk reaction after looking at my solution being posted by someone else...anyways , I would have posted it for free about 1 month back but there were reasons why I did'nt do so :
1. There are people for whom it's their bread-n-butter. They requested me not to do so.
2. There are bigger implications on the future design of Touch itself, once the free solution is out. That hampers the research people have done so far on Touch & similar models...cannot explain that much, this being a public forum.

3. My post would have been deleted immediately.

Regarding my being stupid,well; to some extent you are right.But there was an element of trust, and a promise that he won't pass it to someone directly.The intent was to give it to him so that he could sell the unlocking solution, not the unlocker itself...anyways, thats my mistake.

I was anyway going to post it this month end, as the unlocked ones are already available in the market for about the same price.

About the final release, I would post it tonight.It generates the code file directly as a text file.

I would like to provide other clarification _I am not the only one on this forum who knows how to unlock it. There are others as well.The only point I wanted to make was that the solution you posted was mine.

Thanks for your reply, actualy i was did same process for MOTO MPX 200 ( In furious II Box) i know the whole process, i check it again but i am getting 9 digits only finaly i remove first digit then also its incorrect code at last i cut last digit and my clients touch get unlocked :-) , Anyway Thanks a lot again for making it free to all.

download the hermes sim unlocker then copy the 2 cabs inside the utils, then copy also the unlocker to the wince device (touch) then run it, maybe this will help you. i unlock lots of touch in the greenhills.

I am having the same problem as you , the last two numbers of the imei are not shown and when i put the unlock code into the telephone i am told that it is wrong. Here is my full HTC Touch Model No - "HTC P3450/3452 FRE B" IMEI Number is "356785012022881" and its locked to NEUF Mobile. Any help in getting me a unlock code would be great. Is just tried this unlocker on my dutch t-mobile touch ( the first version with the 64/128 MB mem. ) and it works great.

Thanx a lot for the job. It's working perfectly with an Elf from Vodafone Spain. It's unlocked now. I'm calling with any SIM (Orange, Movistar, Yoigo), without problems.

I just unlocked my MDA Touch P3450!!!

When I first tried to use the file HTC TOUCH SIM UNLOCKER (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327927&highlight=airtel), it didnt work, because I couldnt open the unlock_result.exe file on my pc. After that I downloaded the touch_unlock file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328221 and it worked!!! Actually I didnt even get the hexe file, just got 8 digit number to unlock my phone.

I never unlocked a phone before, so this was my first time and it worked!!! I am very proud of myself! If I can do it, anyone can do it. ;)

McAfee is not smart and thinks that the .exe file is a Trojan when it really is not. I have McAfee as well and this message also pops up frequently when flashing ROM (Ex. CustomRapper.exe, RUU.exe and others).

I have P3450 from india .I gifted the mobile to my best friend, who is in Swiss.
He has put the local swisscom sim card .The service provider turn up on the mobile , but he is unable to make or recive any calls.He tried all things and he has send the mobile back to me.I came to know through our forum the phone is locked. I followed the instructions and got the unlock code, but i dont have any idea where to enter the code .Device didnt ask for unlock code.

Please let me know how to proceed.

I have a Airtel HTC P3450 Touch mobile which is SIM locked and it has been tried unlocking to maximum extent (10 times). Now even after installing elf unlocker and getting the code, I am unable to Unlock because the screen shows " You have tried 10 times, Please wait" and the screen remains the same giving no more chance to input the code generated by elf unlocker.

Kindly help me in this regard.
