View Full Version : BA upgrade to WM6 questions

I have just upgraded from MW2003SE to WM6. Part of this process you have to set some registry flags "enable KITL" etc. In viewing the WM5 instructions they indicate a setting of NO, YES, YES respectfully. In the document HTC_Angel_WM6_Wizzard Upgrade 4. Item 6 point 2 it says in the third sentence "If you are not developing/testing software you can disable the first debug option for better performance".

Does this mean that Enable KITL should be "YES or NO"

No I will not be developing. So I assume that it should be set to NO. In the confusion of the instructions I think I have set to YES. How can I check the value and change it if required.

Why a new thread. Why arn't you using this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326532) thread about WM6 (Helmi ROM) on the BA?

reset then right after, quickly press the camera/record buttons

He'd better start reading the wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blueangel_WM6_WizzardUpgrad e0) before upgrading! It is ALL in there incl. pictures!:D

I read the wiki before upgrading. Thanks for updating it and making it a lot clearer.
WM6 is up a running well. A few issues with BT being able to have one connections at a time ie Handsfree or GPS but not both at once. Will research before placing any more postings. If any one has any urls that would assist I would appreciate it.
