...hi y'all...i have a very big problem...:
my Xda Exec started going crazy (freezed, blue and white screen and stuff like this) and people told me it was the battery that was gone...so i bought 2 batteries from Ebay and the problem kept on going with BOTH the batteries (i also sent the first i got back to the seller for replacement because i thought it was faulty). So with 3 different batteries i had the same problem!!!
Then i found a ROM and i tried to flash it hoping to solve the problem...for a while it was working fine...but now it keeps on freezing if don't use it for a minute or so (it won't "wake up" or it freezes or the screen goes blue and white...) so i have to do a lot of soft resets very often....i can't go on this way!!!!
What do you think i should do??? I heard that an OEM battery could be the solution....but is it possible that 3 different batteries (even bought from different sellers) are ALL damaged or faulty??? An original battery is quite expensive......and if i should buy it and it's not the solution???
Please help me....i am lost without my palm....

try hardresetting your device by pressing lamp button and reset button together till a menu appear, select no yes yes using the pad and press select button.
have u got this problem with a sd card ? try with another one.
at the end you can try task 28 55aa with mtty in order to restore disk on flash partitions.

Thanks a lot......i'll give it a try....but i had the SD card inserted for a lot of time (a year more or less) before it started to go crazy...do you think that could be the problem anyway???
I also tried to flash another ROM...but the problem remains!!! I don't really know what else i can do...!!!

Hard reset your phone, don't install any other 3rd party software, and take out the memory card. Use it like that for a while and see if the symptoms appear. Also, try and see if there is an relation between the freezes and how you fold/unfold the display i.e. do you just open it or do a complete +45+180-45 action to get into tablet mode each time you use it.

Thanks for the advices guys...!!! I almost never unfold the screen...i use it always with the screen "directly visible"...without opening very often.
Before installing a new ROM i tried to hard reset the PDA...but after a couple of minutes the symptoms were there again (i didn't took away the SD card though...but i never had a problem with that...do you really think it could be the reason?).

.....i got an original battery and gave it a try...but still the same problems: freezing, blue or white screen...now the device is stuck in the splash screen and doesn't even go further... i'm getting mad at it....!!!
I think i am going to break it...!!! Anyone has a solution for my problem?
In case i want to buy a XDA Exec that has a block to the O2 Sim Cards...if i flash the ROM with an italian one will the block be removed or not???
Thanks for your quick replies to this matter....
