I install the cube on my Tytn II, but i have some problems with "contact" section.

First of all my TyTn II is a french version
ROM : 1.56.406.5
Date ROM : 30/08/2007
Windows Mobil 6

The dysfonctionements are :

- When i save the contact on Cube config, the phone number lose the + before number. The + is important for international Call
- When i turn the cube, sometime the flash freeze in contact screen. For restart : I press OK button for close the cube and i relaunch Cube manualy.

And the most important : I want to know if is possible to call directly if you press contact picture ?
In this version you must confirm call in intermediate screen ...

Anyone can help me ?

just for your infomation,i have try your version 2.1 for 18 hours so far...
only hang once.:D
but notices that this version use up battery quite fast.
it dorp from 95% charge to 60% within 5 hours.(no call, no SMS, no moving, signal 100%, that is my slping time)
may be it is due to the updating of the miss call and SMS alret??:D

I think something may have gotten mis understood in the translation...I created the link using notepad orginally. Once they are written in notepad and saved, the extension is changed from .txt to .lnk and a link is created. The links work in every other launcher I have used accept your cube. I have read every post in this thread. Some more than once. I really like the cube, please help me make the work.

I test to integrate icon when cube turn but in this case, it's slower.

Maybe ByKa create a version like this or find a solution to have icon when cube turn and not lot of slower.

When Contact's Phone numbers are stored as "+CountrycodePhoneNum
Eg: +91xxxxxxxxxx the plus character is removed in the cube....so everytime you have to edit the number before call/message, because the "+" character vanishes......Please fix this.....or give us a work around.... BTW, thanks for a great app!!!!

Sorry, but if you use my main screen(with more indicators : but i think ByKa made it in the futur), and you instal the cube on your SD or you use a Dutsh rom.
You can test this script and modifi it.(open with notepad)

Where do you installed the whole files? If you installed it here, lets say

Memory Card/Program Files/Szabi/CubeLauncher, then copy Page5 from your PPC to your PC and edit the as follows (the last line):-

Save everything, and copy back to your PPC by replacing the old one. That should do it. If you save everything in different folder, this should be changed accordingly. Lets do it now..

anyone else noticed that the contacts page actually removes the + from phone numbers?

if your phone say has +4400000000 for someones phone number something in the flash apps removes the leading + so your dial will fail.

the text files contain the correct number but the + is missing when you select the quick dial users to dial and is missing when you confirm the phone number to dial.

Bit of a shitter if your phoning from abroad etc.

This what I did too ! :) but one reason I wanted to choose Byka Cube is the configuration (Vs TouchCommander and Slighter Cube), so it's sad that it's not working !

This is not true.

The ConfigTOOL works on all PPC what correct .MET Framework v2 sp1 is installed beforehand.

but this was written here many times.
only some changes what got not involved into it yet is a time format and minimisation, what you must only to write in text file with a hand a your wish.

This what I did too ! :) but one reason I wanted to choose Byka Cube is the configuration (Vs TouchCommander and Slighter Cube), so it's sad that it's not working !

but i must admit... i didn't use the .net framework version 2.... i install the version 3 Beta... so i cannot blame that their config tool is bad...:D

Hi All

First would just like to say what a brilliant bit of software this is.

Managed to config the Cube to do everything I need but just having a slight problem with the Info screen, every time I click on info.swf the info screen starts up but then immediately after the cube starts up and you can not see the info screen and when you close the cube the info also closes.

Am sure its something am doing wrong but any help would be appreciated.

If you like look to the MainScreen with the info panel, you need setting some variables with manual (simple notepad on ppc or pc) in the Page1.txt file.

Hi.

Yes, you can look analoge clock on the main screen, you need downloading the previous versiont only, and from the attachtment copies the info.bg file for your ppc in the cube folder.

Now, the digital clock you can settings the time format: you must opening the Page1.txt file with manual simple notepad pc or ppc, and you to look the settings.

First let me say thank you for this great application.

My question is... As I look through all the settings, I don't see anyway to change the background of the cube, neither the spinning cube or the background behind the icons. I would love to edit the background behind the icons to better match my windows mobile theme. I'm not sure if this is something that could be setup to be configured by config files, like the txt files that config the links, if not would it be possible to get the actual *.fla files so that I could edit the background myself?

The first thing i would tell you is.... GREAT. Thanx for the amazing cubelauncher.
It works perfekt on my German XDA Orbit (Artemis) with WM6.
But i have a question...
Is there any chance to get the sourcecode (macromedia files)? I like the first wallpaper
but i dont wont to have the clock, signal, battery...
And for my personality i would to have on the app pages the same numbers as on the
contact page. It means i want to have 12 app on each side and the aera under the icons
seems to big (high) for me.
I am a neebie on macromedia and it seems to be easyer for me to edit an existing one as to
create a new one.

If I only need 3 pages I don't want to scroll trough
the other page.
So in the config file add a parameter like page enabeling.
This would be a nice feature.

Pleas make the contactspage also possible to set it on or off.

In this attachtment the cube :
-rotating realtime (when you pull your finger)
-invoke the cube: drag the finger bottom to up (on the mainscreen, is you not keeping that)
-remove the cube: drag your finger up to bottom.
-This version comprise the 12 contacts , real and refresh datas look the signal and battery icons (colored yet, this relevant me beetwen test).
-this version not comprise the sms imput panel, but I removed the "sample message" text.
-lack now vibrate icon.
-removed the Demo texts.

Next release: Button on the mainscreen for you fauvorite ScreenLock program.
The SMS write panel finished, but I testing yet, I liking preference the t9 looked panel here big buttons. (abc2...def3...)

Is there any way to get the contacts page to list the name of the contact...as it os now, there is only an icon and all are the same by default. There is no label for each contact.

Using on Treo 750 noticed that I can no longer use PIE keys (f=full screen, n=down, etc.) I thought this may be FlashLite's doing, but if i start FL by itself, the functionality is intact. Can anyone else confirm this lost functionality with Cube2?

Feature Request: I would live to have a cleaner version of the "pages" minus the FlashLite advertising (picky, yes, but can't blame a guy for trying)

Discovered that I have to D-pad through a few times before the assigned keys begin to work again. Each time I re-open/restore PIE, the keys are non-funtioning until I D-pad a few times. Curious...

I wrote a contact picker for the Cube Launcher that allows you to pick a contact and the phone number you want to import. If the contact has a picture it will scale the picture and import it as well. Please try it out and let me know what I can do to improve it. I had problems with the contacts editor in Cube_Config.

Anyone figured out a way to make this a true today screen plugin? Very cool idea as an app visually, but thinking somewhat practically, I can get to my apps from the today screen in fewer clicks than with the cube. if the cube could be set to replace the today screen (like with the HTC home app), I think we'd really be onto something here. Of course then I'd want to be able to see notifications, time, etc. right along with the cube apps. (on my 240x240 Treo screen I have free real estate on the left and right of the cube icons - perfect space for this info).

Willing to donate if someone is able to take on this challenge.

I'm currently using FTouchFlo to execute Cubelaunch. It was working fine initially till i recently installed MemMaid and OxiosMemory. I can minimise the cube to go to Today's window. But from there, I can't execute the CubeLaunch program when i do the down-up. Any idea why it's no longer working? Any associations with either one of the 2 programs installed? Thanks in advance!

HERE IS A QUOTE FROM YOUR SITE.

IF you use the main screen for SMS and missed call notification, you'll need the MortScript.
This is a small program to run DOS command lines. You will find on MORT page, or at xda or simply download from here.
VERY IMPORTANT TO INSTALL INTO THE MAIN MEMORY, and also get it run after install! (With this you can assign .mscr extension to the program, we need this: C/Program Files/MortScript/MortScript.exe).

ByKa, well done, this is a great piece of software and I like the fact that it is very configurable. Just one question, how hard would it be to put the time on each face of the cube (maybe down the bottom instead of the page title)? Often, I'd like to quickly glance at the time.
