OK, it seems that the files in your oem package (2007_04_25) and the ones i got in this forum (2007_08_02) are the same. The only differences are in the registry keys, i don't know which keys are the correct ones but i suspect that the ones in your oem package cannot work since they associate jad and jar files with \windows\joedek.exe but there's no such file in \windows. The correct association is with \windows\jbed.exe. Your oem package will probably run ok but it won't let you start midlets installation right from the browser/file manager.

I'm attaching a slightly revised OEM package with correct file association, a link to jbed help in \windows\help and some missing png files added to initflashfiles.dat

Yep, i realised soon after my post. The registry settings however are incorrect (they reports version 2007-04-25 and associate jad/jar to jeodek.exe instead of jbed.exe)

I've just flashed a new rom made with this kitchen. It is BY FAR the fastest rom ever tried!!!

BUT THERE IS A GREAT problem: i cannot access any SIP input methods from any application. All the SIPs (keyboard, letter recogniser and block recogniser have vanished).

EDIT: no more a problem, it went away after a soft reset :)

I ran the buildos.exe but after finish, I don't see the 80040000-OS.nb in the temp folder anywhere. There's a dump file with all the stuff in it. Gimme a clue someone.

i built a rom with this kitchen and after i built it and flashed it to my wizard it will start to boot up for the first time and it will get to where u calibrate the screen and turn itself off and restart...in a endless cycle....this isnt hte only time ive had this problem its happened with other kitchens...i just dont know what the problem is...or how to fix it.....any ideas? any help would b great appricated! thanks!

We need to know exactly which options did you enable and which not.

Use the kitchen and don't delete anything or add anything. If that ROM works, start by removing the stuff from the OEM folder and build again. If that works, then you know the problem lies with one of your custom apps.

It's not a clean package, it includes also some files and reg settings needed elsewhere in the rom. The other packages you listed can be safely removed. bye

Hi,
i've cooked a rom without the Touch OEM package (the f***ing cube), it works beautifully and is very fast but sometimes, when i tap on something (an icon, a scrollbar, the X/OK button, etc), nothing happens and i have to tap more than once.

Yesterday, while viewing the programs folder (Start->Programs) i inadvertently tapped the screen and, to my great astonishment, the screen started scrolling: just like the contacts when the touch is installed, just like an iphone. I continued moving my pen over the screen and all the icons nicely scrolled in the direction of my moves. Then i opened the contacts and the scrolling worked there too! So far so good you may say. The problem is that, after some minutes, the scrolling feature stopped working. I tried all the evenings to reproduce the effect but i only got some small scratches on my screen!
This morning, after a couple of soft resets, the scrolling started working for some time again but now it's over again :(

Now i think that i know why sometimes i'm not able to tap the X/OK button and i have to tap more than once on icons and scrollbars: when this happens it is likely that the scrolling feature is enabled and so i have to hold my pen really steady while tapping or my tap will be interpreted as a gesture instead of a tap.

Now, i can live with the tap-more-than-once problem but I'D REALLY WANT THE SCROLL FEATURE TO BE ALWAYS ENABLED (instead of randomly activated)! It's amazing, it works not only in Contacts but also in Programs, in Settings and in IE!!! Is there something i can do?

config.txt in "OEM operators". and this doesnt install anything from extrom. but you can modify that to avoid reset or lock screen.

ok i really need some help...ihave no idea whats going wrong...no matter how i configered my room it would freeze at screen calibration.....so installed you rom(boy_de_ghet) your OCTAIVOI's Wizard 4.5 rom and get the exact same problem...but then i go back an install one of my 1437 roms and it works fine...i have no idea wht it might be

replaced X-Button by pBar (sorry, it was in Vietnamese, I forgot to choose the English pBar 1.4 one, you can download it from:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284952 ,and replace pBar in \Windows)
add:
battery status
Flashvideobundle, wma, wmv, FLV plugin so that you can play .FLV, .wma, wmv, avi... music by TCPMP and other software
and some other things that I can't remember now, he he :)

so i have no idea what makes your extended rom instalation running.. try clean file config.txt (or just leave lock and unlock - safer :) ) - nothing will be installed and you dont have to soft reset your wizz..

rom doesnt use ext_rom by standard for sure. you can make it run by copying config.txt from extrom to oemoperators.

I tried two times and got the same old fashion ugly dialer which is fine but I prefer Touch one.

I also have changes OEM package for others used in different ROMs and didn't get throught it! :confused:

I finally solved my problem with random activating scroll feature.
I had to install the cab attached below and then realign my screen.
Now i can always use my finger to scroll in Programs, Settings, IE, Contacts and even in Total Commander.
