View Full Version : Sdhc Driver

I found an SDHC driver for the ETEN x500 reported to work on WM5 and WM6. However, I could not find any information for other devices. I installed it on my XDA NEO operating with an official WM5 without any obvious malfunctions. Unfortunately, I do not have any SDHC card at hand to test it.

Does anyone have any ideas or even experience with this issue?

ok. found out that this driver disables wlan functionality on my XDA NEO. uninstalled it - everything back to normal. matter finished... :-(

Do you have the link to the driver? I'm not too fussed about wifi, i'd rather have sdhc support.

just search for sdhc x500 driver. it was released by eten for their x500 machine but is reported to work well on others running wm5 as well as wm6. but many people have also reported that some software called igo would not work anymore after installation. i do not know whether i am the only one with disabled wifi or if noone has noticed it yet or if i would have to hard reset my machine and start from the scratch. moreover, the only reports i found were only about 4gb sdhc cards. have not found anything about higher cards.

anyway, if their are any problems, you can easily uninstall it again. that worked for me at least.

I found an universal SDHC driver for WM5 and WM6 devices. I haven't tried it yet on my Prophet...

I tried so many drivers with registry changes but I had no succeed! I think our SD hardwre isn't SDHC compatible! :(

I have my Prophet tested with this cab... ( micro SDHC .... not working ~~~ )
