Just installed the .cab file onto my XV6700, recognized my 4GB SDHC Card after a reset.

I've been trying to get this card to work for about a week now, using DOS partitioning, Formating it in my digital camera with the SD adapter card, other ridiculously futile tactics. Up to this point it HASN't EVEN BEEN RECOGNIZED in my phone.

I dumped 2gb of mp3's on it just to test it's capacity, rockin some tunes on my phone right now. !thanks loads!!

I confirm.

Using this driver on my Apache with helmi_c's WM6 ROM enabled my Sandisk microSDHC 6GB storage (using a micro->mini adapter).

It works flawlessly for over 3 weeks now including WM5torage.

I'm able to access the card but TomTom gets very, very, very slow.
WiFi stays disabled until I uninstall the SDHC driver and restart the PDA. :(

WiFi doesn't work with SDHC drivers on N560! It's the known problem.
Originally "sdhc.777.cab" was created by freepk (the man who creates
unofficial WM6 update for C550/N560) and his team "777".It's based on
Athena's driver. freepk and his team have been trying to solve the issue
for more than 2 months but they haven't found a solution yet and probably
they won't find. Wi-Fi doesn't work only because of SDHC driver registers
on the same bus which is supposed to use for WiFi data.

Hey all.

I know its not an HTC, but I wanted to share the info for anybody who cares. I just installed the sdhc.cab on my new Samsung i760 (Verizon) and it works great. Using a 4gb sandisk microSDHC card.

I just got a samsung i760 ppc/phone and was told that an 8GB microSDHC card is not compatible with it. I have a 4GB and downloaded the CAB dll file posted in previous messages and it works fine. Anybody know if an 8GB microSDHC will work on it before I fork over a nice chunk of change the card? thanx :confused:

For the month that i had the i760 i could not get it to read larger than a 4gb... IDK if anyone else has got it working but your best bet would be to search in the i760 forum @ pdaphonehome.com

When you tried a card larger that 4gb, did it not function at all or did you see the 1.7gb capacity?

It showed 1.7GB... on a 6GB and i didn't get my 8GB until after i returned the i760...

I've been sifting through this forum for this. What is the latest for a successfully reading full 8gb on the Samsung i760? I've tried various cabs that I've found and am reading 4 gb on the card. Can anything better than this be accomplished so far?

I have a HTC p4300 using wm5. I have been using a 2 Gig micro sd without issues. I wanted more space. I bought a 4 Gig sdhc card. I searched around and found sdhc.777.cab. When I installed it, it disabled my ability to see any kind of memory card. Any suggestions?

I have installed the patch with some success.
I am running a Pocket Loox T830 with the WM6 upgrade found elsewhere on this forum. I have bluetooth and wifi working, but when I tried running it with the Latest TT7 beta 3 that's just been released it froze on my journey had to reset on several occasions. Once I uninstalled the patch all ran fine again.
I was onluy using a generic 2gb card at this point.
I have yet to try it with TT7 on a SDHC card.
It did read a 4gb sdhc card that I got from 7dayshop.com, which my son is using in his Nintendo DS, this card is possibly Kingston, but could be a clone too.
Has anyone else experienced problems running Tomtom7? and more importantly have they overcome this problem
Have ran it successfully with TT7 using a 4gb Kingston? Mini SD card, prob off ebay originally and TT7 worked fine locally.
**UPDATE**
Have re-=installed the patch and all seems to be working fine again, even the 2GB sandisk clone. So no idea what the original problem was could be any one of the upgrades ie WM6, TT7 or the sdhc patch LOL.
**FURTHER UPDATE**
Not that there appears any interest LOL
I purchased X 4 Dane Elec 4gb SDHC cards from 7dayshop and when I put them in my T830 they weren't recognised even tho' the patch was installed.
I reinstalled over existing patch and BINGO all was well..again. It now sees every card that I have up to 4gb

I've been working on my xv 6700 for a few days now..
i guess im not doing it right..
And yes im a N00b at this phone stuff.. but i'm a programmer by trade so its angering me cause i have to ask for help...
Ive installed the sdhc.cab
But i do not know were to replace the two .dll files
And my phone recognizes my 4gb card after sdhc.cab is installed
but every time i try to take a pic/video it gives me the

"Unable to capture"
"Not enough Memory"

Then freezes for a few second then lets me click the X to close the error report
My phone works properly other than that...
Mp3s work fine.. pix/vids work fine. but cam dont work worth a $hit....

I downloaded your cab and extracted it. But don't know how to install into my Cingular 8525 ppc phone. I try to have the device recognize my 4g micro sd card. Please advise, and highly appreciate for any input.
