i really need help with active sync

i've been searching around many forums for the past week and cant seem to find the answer. My mda connects to active sync for like 3 days and suddenly stops working. My computer recognizes the mda and you could hear the sound but active sync doesnt. The freen wheel keeps spinning and says connecting . Everytime i do a hard reset it connects for a quick minute and then it stops. I tried installing a fresh copy of windows and still it wouldnt work. Ive installed and reinstalled active sync about 10 times and still nothing.


update i have noticed that its starts doing the spinning wheel thing when a big G appears at the top of the screen

the g means its on gprs, usually so shouldnt be whats causing it.

do you have any firewalls installed? when you plug in your vario its connection to the computer emulates a network connection so your vario can see the internet when plugged into the pc for example.

its possible that your firewall is blocking it, so try disabling and see if it helps.

as for why it might work then not work, im not sure, maybe something about what active sync does might trigger some kind of attack detection.
