Alpine and Blue next BN-806F GPS

Has any body got the alpine working yet with a BN-806F GPS unit ?

I seem to be having major problems here ?

Units pair but wont talk and gpa wont aquire satalites ?

I think I now have the answer .

The 806 is bluetooth version 1.2 compliant where as the XDA11i is not ?

What do you guys think ?

Is it possible to up grade the broadcom stack to 1.2 ?

Or have I just spent 40 sovs on a piece of kit I cant use ! Doooooh

Hi Astro 1 i have been using a blue next bn-908gr with the same profile bluetooth as yours ie v1.2 and have had no probs .Bluetooth profile of my 2i is only 1.00 .I have noticed once paired it takes 3-4 minutes to talk to each other but other than that no problems .Ps hope you get it sorted.
