Hi@all,
I tried to get a serial connections on my Prophet using 2 different ways, neither worked for me. Iīd be glad if anyone could help...
1. Using Putty and ActiveSync
Putty settings: COM1, standard-serial settings (9600 baud etc), but tried many others, too.
I connect - and have a blank terminal screen. But no reaction on any input. No responses. I donīt even see what I typed.
2. Using basic4ppc (on the device) and serial commands
I tried out various COM-Ports and settings. In 98% connection failed. The other 2% brought up a short ok-message and the program crashed.
So what am I doing wrong?
btw: I want to do all this to communicate with the GSM-device of the PPC.
