Is it possible to backup whole device ROM.
I do not mean something like Spb Backup which makes only settings backup.
I need something more general ... like creating image of the operating system.

OK ... I gave this a shot ... twice. Nothing really happened. This is quite complicated ... way too complicated.

Isn't there some software with a big red button named "DUMP ROM". I'm just user ... not a hacker. I need software to take care of my problems :)

If you are not a hacker, what's the point of having a complete backup?
Even if you can back it up, there's no tool to restore the full flash image.

Microsoft Killed the full backup since WM5..... it was the best option until 2003 SE, then.... you have to pay.

UMPC's will kill PDA's, and only "comunicators" devices will survive.... HTC Shift is showing the way, no Syncs, no cables, no Pim backups, no file conversions..... if only the phone part would remain intact! Please HTC! Do it for us! ;o)
BTW, improuve the screen res too.....
