Like many Trinity users I had been experiencing problems with my mini SD card since upgrading from a previous HTC model. The main issue was that Windows would simply fail to detect that the card was inserted into the phone and I would have to soft reset or remove the card and re-insert. I tried several methods to correct the problem, including the HTC update that was released, but nothing worked. However, I believe I have stumbled accross a cure that you may be interested in.

Basically, I have assigned a MP3 that is stored on the SD card as the ring-tone. I did this approximately 2 months ago and have not had a problem with the SD card since. I am not sure why this works, but I would guess that Windows checks for the presence of the ringtone periodically and this prevents the issues I was experiencing.

Not sure if this will work for everyone but you may want to give it a go.

I did somthing like that a couple day's ago but i changed the registerkey (Change the location of Ringtone file storage
WM5 will look for Ringtones in \Windows\ or \Windows\Rings by default. You can change this location to, for example, your Storage Card (example given is for ringtones placed on the Storage Card root folder)
HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\Directory = "\Storage Card\" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)

To return to the original location:

HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\Directory = "\Windows\Rings\" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)

Note the default location may be "\Windows\" or "\Windows\Rings\" depending on your Device provider.) dont no if that will do the same trick ?

I got a different issue with my SD card.
On my PT Rom, it was correctly named "Cartão de Memória".. Not sure why, after a soft reset, it lost that name, and changed to "Volume Montado". After trying some tweaks I found to change cards name, the only thing I got was it changing to English "Mounted Volume".

Anyone with this problem, or a hint on how to solve it?
