Perhaps I've missed something (and yes, I've Googled this site).
I want to remove the HTC Home plugin from Schap's 3.54c ROM that I have on my phone, so I can put the newer 6-tab version in. I've seen mention of a "Software Uninstaller" in a few posts to remove it, but I can't find any download links or anything.
Is that the name of the software?

I believe that's "cooked" into Schaps ROM. So you actually can't uninstall it. You can try installing the newer HTC Home and see if it overwrites it though.
Good luck.:)

I've also seen this name "Software Uninstaller" posted and could not find it. So, what do we use to remove programs that are not cooked in nor are they listed under "Remove Programs"?

Here's where I pulled that "Software Uninstall" thing from:

Second post down ...
If it's cooked in, there's not even a way to upgrade except run the cab and cross your fingers? That seems kinda ... dumb!

Unfortunately that's how things work. If you don't like it, make your own ROM. ;)
