if i sell my hermes

i was thinking, if i were to sell my hermes would the value hold better if i left it as is or if i upgraded it to wm6. I was thinking, it's still got over 130 days warranty left and it's just getting the screen replaced, the phone is in excellent condition, the only thing is, wm6 will void the warranty, but it'll still have wm6.
i also got a razr and n70 i'm going to sell so i can get the tytnII. lol.

edit: it's cingular branded (locked) would unlocking it be a selling point?

only unofficial, cooked wm6 roms void the warrany, the official rom will not do this. I'm confident wm6 will add to the value, and the prescence of windows live will do this also, and so will some (free?) respectable software such as acrobat reader, skype realone player etc.

I think unlocking well certailnly add to the value of the phone, and many would-be customers will no longer be put off by the network-branding

With regards to the warranty, 130 days is significant, but not too long, and aside from the screen (which you are getting replaced) the hermes encounters many hardware faults.

flash the official att wm6 rom then unlock and add apps then you will get abit for it
