The powertoys from microsoft, for ppc2003 come with remote display AND it can be made to work on WM5 and WM6!
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=74473FD6-1DCC-47AA-AB28-6A2B006EDFE9&displaylang=en
Install the powertoy on your pc only.
Browse to;
C:\Program Files\Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys\ActiveSync_Remote_Display\devices\wce400\armv 4t
copy cerdisp2.exe to the windows folder on your device and viola!
Just run the program from windows.
You will get a pop up message in windows about an unknown CPU type...just click on ok.
You will have to manually end the program on your device by clicking on the icon in the system tray and selecting exit.
But hey it's free!;)

WoW! I found something similar, but the workaround is quite simpler.
This is the site for the app: http://www.mtux.com/ (free as well)
This is the workaround:
Run the installer while you're syncd and hit the left soft key on your ppc twice to install on ur device.
Good Money

Excellent!!!!!
I can see my screen now in my PC.
Yesterday I purchased the LCD and Digitzer on ebay in $68.00 us with shipping, will fix it in a week, anyone know where I can purchase the front housing and keypad, they got scratches and my 8525 was in mint condition before my accident. :(

This ebay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Full-Housing-KEY-D-838-Pro-HTC-8525-HERMES-31D_W0QQitemZ250164104628QQihZ015QQcategoryZ15039Q QcmdZViewItem) has approximately 3 days left, but it appears to be the complete set of 8525 OEM parts.
This LINK (http://www.cellulardr.com/products.php?cat=285&pg=2) is a bit pricey but has a nice selection of parts.
Hey, which app did you end up using to view your ppc on ur pc?
