Mobile 6 Text Messaging Quirk

I recently flashed to vp3G's ROM, when I go to text message I get this annoying problem. After I enter the TO: line I used to just press the down arrow(mobile 5.0) to go to the text body, now when I do it, it just scrolls the page down leaving me in the TO line. I have searched the forums, pressed every button and combo of buttons and the only way to get to the text body is to touch the screen. Anybody have this small inconvience too?

Been answered several times (tough to search for though). Go into HTCustom and disable "navigate with D-Pad" under the IE options tab.

Thanks a million. It kinda sucks though, I like using that feature, oh well can't win them all.
