HTC 8925 - USB Stereo headset not working
8925 freeze
Multiple reports of device freeze and inactive touch screen

Blank screen, phone locked up (or powered down)
Vibrate won't shut off
HTC 8925 touch screen response issue
No message received when a voice message is sent
HTC camera Error
HTC 8900 - XM files are read only and this means the trial will never expire.

i think ce version is different, but there were fixes..

interesting - can't upgrade to this ROM. Get an error (260) after the update begins. I'm going from the previous version of the same rom (1.57.502.1) to this one. The phone's screen says "Security Unlocked" and that's it.

I loaded it on a non-AT&T kaiser. Worked fine for me.

I ve tryed to update my Kaiser with this rom with no hope !

its give me error [294] Invalid venderid ,i think need SPL unlocked .

Hi,

Can anyone extract the extended rom from this rom build? I am interested in some of the programs customed for AT&T such as XM radio or video on demnd. Perhaps one can modify their ssettings to match those of Rogers in Canada in order to use them on their HSDPA network. Thoughts?

have u tried custel's cingular apps? i use the cab on many htc devices and even seems to work on tmobile so dont c why it wouldnt wk on rogers.

I can't get wmstorage to work on original rom, I'm thinking of switching to this rom to try if wmstorage works. Can anyone save me the trouble and tell me if it works?

Also how do i tell if my phone is vender id unlocked.

your cid is locked on the phone, you will have to wait for an unlocker..

After a few hours of playing i can say i am pretty happy with it seems fast and fun to play with everything a hermes should have been lol...

i dont have mine yet, but can agree that the 400mhz proc in the hermes was quite disappointing...

oh...ok.... so this is why peoples looking for an unlocker to make the deivce Super CID... once it is, i can flash any ROM with no problems. am i correct?

Glad to see you're getting a kaiser shogunmark. It gives me hope that there might be a way to get PTT going on an unofficial ROM as was done with the Hermes, which I understand you helped make possible?

yep.. will have the kasier next week.. still waiting on the xda store to get their shipment... anticipation is killing me......

seems there's mixed report ... AFAIK ... we're still waiting for CID unlocker for the Kaiser ..etc

yet ... these guys are able to switch between AT&T and HTC's ROM no problem.

Hi,
I'm trying to update my AT&T Tilt firmware without the HardSPL hack initially and want to have the original ROM to fall back on. My current version is:
GSM Radio: 1.27.12.11
Protocol version: 22.45.88.07H
CE version: 1.57.502.2
OS build: Windows Mobile 6 AKU 0.4.2 Build 18125

However, I'm confused with the status of this ROM as it mentions that the XMRadio files are read-only. Does it mean that it's not exactly like the original AT&T ROM?

Furthermore, I'm confused by the links from the xda-developers wiki. There is one version pointed to on the wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_ROMs), CE version 1.57.502.3, but on the thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326933)itself, it is described as 1.57.502.1.

However, looking at the changes list, it almost appears that this 1.57.502.3/1.57.502.1 is the precursor for the ROM in this thread. Could it be that it is actually 1.57.502.2 without the XM radio hack?

If all else fails, I'll give them both a try but I just wanted some reassurance that I could go back to the original version in case I need to return it back to AT&T ;)

Glad to see someone else noticing this. I suppose those of us who happen to have this stock version of ROM and Radio will be monitoring this thread in case we need to return our Tilts ;)

I can report that this ROM does not seem to load without HardSPL. I get an "Invalid Vender ID" (sic) message while running the RUU..exe file. Because of this, I believe this isn't the stock version.

When I get a chance, I'm going to try out the 1.57.502.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326933) version to see if it goes all the way through. Even if it does, the problem still remains that we don't have an easy way of getting the stock firmware reinstalled without going thru the trouble of hacking ROMs using the RUU_custom, and etc.. Perhaps I'm mistaken here, so I would appreciate any feedback in this matter.
