My last rom based on kaiser touch like interface { Touch I beta} ultra lite also here

This rom based on my supa dupa touch rom which I have removed Touchflo and integrated some new prog inside.
This rom will be possible my last rom as i will be selling my hermes to get a kaiser This weekend/next week.
Full Rom includes :

1. Total storage 68.77mb thanks to bepe for his superb work
2. Shaps advanced Configuration
3. Htc touch audio manager new (1.2 build 725.711)
4. hibernate (nice app to release free ram)
5. Total commander ( best file explorer which can do almost anything)
6. Latest windows live (10.6.0031.2600) thanks to {TNT}:D
7. latest task manager (2.0 BUILD 30487) fantastic app thanks to (TNT)
8. HTC Network plugin (build 29714)
9. HTC Network wizard ( build 29982.1.0.2.2)
10. HTC kaiser touch 3g dialler thanks to shen. if needed to revert back to standard wm6 dialler just unselect show video dialler using shaps advance tool.:eek:

this rom has no touch flo pre-installed left the touch.dll inside so you can install the alpha cab if needed.:(

Thanks mate for your feedback was looking for something like this to keep my hermes but I will miss this enjoyment of practicing cooking.

ok so I just upgraded to this rom.. before I had a GM360's beta on here.. after the upgrade his start splashscreen is still showing up after a soft reset.. and then it goes to your new screen as well... why???

Im still playing with it but i like how network wizard found settings and setup txt messing and network settings automatically after the initial reset and custimization..

I really wish I had the time and know how to create my own roms, i have soo many things i want to pull from certain roms and put into others, id have a good time doing it!

I will report back after messing around with this rom for a little bit! thanks!

its a very easy way to create your own rom (thanks to MATT) then theres other kitchens in here you can use that are a little more complex but lets you really get into your own roms!!!!

Same here. I just flashed it in a spare hermes to test. Works fast and seems stable, but no VOIP. I'll try a cab to see if I can make it work.

Use Shaps Advanced Configuration located in Programs. Then select the Misc tab & select the Cingular keyboard.

I have taken the drivers out but there are cabs out there that you can install. They were in my cab package bit the links are gone will update later if doesnt work I can put them back in the rom:)

I'm using SupaDupa NoMms and its good for me, but WLive don't open the e-mails window, perhaps with the new version included in your new addons could run ok, so i will try it when link runs ok. Or if you have any idea about solve this i can try too.

Love your ROMS dutty and a big Thank You, I notice a few things with this ROM that may be bugs. 1) when having WMP setup through today as the default player, songs are not showing on the home plugin when being played. 2) when task manager is setup as "tap to close", making changes to certain standard settings to not take. For example when checking the box to move email storage to card. However, if task manager is setup as "tap & hold to close", works fine.

Really looking forward to your lite version here.

I have never seen this before with either Dutty's ROM or Schaps' ROMs. Using Advanced Config tool when we unlock and load the Ext. ROM..the device will want to restart the device before it applies the settings - this is usual. But what is not happening is that it never loads the Ext. ROM. Did anybody try this......

Hey Duttythroy, is there a reason you're using an older version of the htc home plugin? Is it more stable? Also do you have a cab (or OEM) for the improved Battery/Bluetooth tray icons (the one above the soft buttons - not on top) you use? I've been looking everywhere for this! :)

Touch cube files have been removed apart from the .touch.dll you can install the touch alpha cab, delete bio.link from start up folder., create a shortcut for biotouch and reset the device. Cick on biotouch and then the touchflo and it should work.

I have installed the TouchFLO (alpha) cab but only found the Touch FLO at the Programs page. There isn't the BioTouch and the TouchFLO settings. Have I missed something?

I clicked on the Touch FLO and it did launch the cube. However, I cannot rotate the cube with any buttons. I also tried the D-Pad but still couldn't rotate the cube. Please help.

Please read first post, this rom has not got the touchflo has I found it instable. if you install the cab just go into windows using total commander and create a shortcut for bio touch in programs and assigned touchfl to any hardware button.:)

Ok I love this rom, but it has the same problem as all the other cooked ones. It can only connect through bluetooth with one device for a time. For example ones my carkit is connected I can't connect to my tomtomt go. WIth original wm6 rom this is no problem. Anyone have a solution for this?

i have no access to wifi so if someone can test windows live to see if it connects through wifi ad post results. wlm is stable with the option of not adding your live contacts to your phone book

I really feel at home in the hermes forum although there wa time when it was quite nice here but everyone sticked it out. I always tried to learn from the best chefs here and promised myself that maybe oneday i could give something back to the community that helped and teach me.

And i think now i have given a great rom I really can say thank you all.

ok so I just upgraded to this rom.. before I had a GM360's beta on here.. after the upgrade his start splashscreen is still showing up after a soft reset.. and then it goes to your new screen as well... why???

I installed the ultra lite rom yesterday, just after you uploaded... really happy with it. Gave me the chance to put what I wanted on the phone rather than whats installed with the ROM.

Got it all setup the way i like now - will stick with this rom for a while now - guess ill have to if you've moved towards the Kiaser lol.

There is a serious problem in the 'clocks and alarm' accessed through the 'settings'. When you try to change the alarm from its default you will only have to click 'ok' on the top right corner which closes the alarm setting completely after you select your desired time. But when you open the setting again you will see that the new alarm time you had set is not there.
It works maybe after trying for around 4-5 times.
Also once we set the time for alarm, generally in other ROMs after you click 'ok' you will still be in the setting environment whereas in this ROM it comes out of the setting screen which I feel is a serious goof up...

I noticed this problem too. I fixed it by changing the settings in the Task Manager Options. Choose the option where you have to Tap and Hold to close. That fixed it for me.

I agree that there seems to be an issue with the OK/Close button.

When the X button is set to close apps if you are in a settings page for an App and hit OK the whole app will close rather than just the settings page. As mentioned before, this means that you lose any changes you have just made. If the button is set to tap and hold it all good.

I don't know if it's a problem with the rom or Task Manager 2 as I haven't checked Task manager 2 on another rom yet.

Mine was a newly bought Dopod 838PRO (Hermes100). It already came with WM6, but the one on dopodasia's website was newer, and i flashed to that rom prior to installing this cooked one.

But i had to force SPPL during flashing, could that be the issue?

Great looking and working ROM But i have a problem with it.

When I use TT6 and my Royaltek RBT-1000 (gps-mouse) there seems to be no connection between phone and gps.

When I pair them the gps flashes shortly blue (bt connection) and then stops flashing.
I had the same problem with the wm6 black satin rom. With the dutch original HTC rom it worked fine.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with the rom?

Hi all,
I just installed this ROM yesterday and it works beautifully.
I have no problem updating the weather using my EDGE/GPRS connection and also by using active-sync when connected to PC. SInce I have unlimited data plan, my push email is ON around the clock. I switch to 2G dialer using Advance config since I my current carrier only supports EDGE. Well, I did't do much video calling either. I use my other phone, SONY P990i for that purpose using my other carrier.

I didn't use the task manager as I prefer to use other method of handling the OK/Close icon. I installed HHC configurator to customised my HTC home to suit the color and appearance.

So far so good, will report on any bugs/problems encountered.

Not really sure whats the problem.. It just freezes and refuse to wake up on the last reset. Suspected that it is the CE star application that is causing it.

I had similar problem with this ROM, the problem was that once in a while my Hermes would not boot. When I turn it on, it just hangs, the green light is on and the phone doesn't boot. OK that is good question sice the ext rom has now been tied with the storage memory that could be possibility of causes for some people getting random freezes/ hard rsets so forth if they are trying to unlock or show thier extrom

Then I downloaded Swedish Input (Crossbow).cab
I have also in advance settings set Swedish as the keyboard to use.

My hardware keyboard works but the sw keyboard is still with eng layout.

But I also had it on another lite rom by shamanix. I had highlighted and made visible the external rom - was still 10 mb in external rom. On all three hung and hard resetted. No idea whats the issue - no idea if this effects all roms with enlarged storage memory.

on paper this is a REALLY good rom for me - but this issue is non workable

I did not have the problems of spb shell with black satin.

it could be that if you use network wizard to auto config you need to delete the proxy settings in connections tab.:)

I have seen WLM build .1600 in Add-ons,, but don't see Build .2600.that some of you have talked about. Please can you direct me to where I can find separate Cab, if there is one that is not built into ROM.Thanks

cheers i think even if you install a newer version of wlm over an existing one old files still remain in windows. best to install the ultra lite if its giving you problems. thanks;)

I'm not sure but i think you can install pocket cm keyboard which has got a black touch effect.

i ahve got a black keyboard which matches the touch but it has to be cooked in the rom. i thought the one i put in the rom was much better as the black one is sometimes harder to use in the dark.:)

Im having bluetooth problems with this rom.
The following things happen:

1. When I turn on bluetooth in the connection screen I get a waiting icon (sqaure windows thingy) and when its gone the BT icon is still grey.
When I turn on BT and make the phone visable in the bleutooth options screen and I close the window the same thing happens.
I Just cant use bleutooth

2. When I pair my royaltek rbt-1000 GPS they can find eachother. But when the pairing is complete they just dont connect when they are near eachother. Even when I start TT6 they dont connect. (Its not the GPS that is working fine with my girlfriends pink n73)
I Had this problem earlyer with a cooked rom (black majik) but not with the dutch original HTC rom

Now is the problem I cant beam this with bluetooth (not that big of a problem)
And cant use TT (thats a big problem)

I did a new clean installation.
Entered teh shaps advance and selected swedish keyboard.
Hardware buttons works with this but the software keyboard has not the keys i'm used to have.
Is it only the hardware layout that is controled with shaps advance setting?
Is it possible to change the sw keyboard to one with swedish keys in it (by default view, not via sub key)

htcustom doesnt work with this rom. shaps advanced is very neat tool.

Just flashed your rom-FULL version. So far it is good. Very good in term of look and speed.

New Task Manager:
I didn't have problem with the task manager, it can retain the changes made to clock setting. (by default the task manager set to tap and hold to close).
But there's some quirk with notes. With task manager set to close with tap, After clicking the notes' ok button, it closes the notes apps. Open it back brought to last edited note with all the changes there. Tap and hold, hoping to return to note list but no luck. but using the OK button, work just fine.

So i guess set the task manager to tap and hold to close if fine..

Others:
HTC home doesn't have any problem. Backlight cycle OK.
Video call work fine.
Bluetooh can pair and exchanging files with my nokia 6233 (s40 v3)

As i'm still trying to get Streaming Media working i installed the new cab, but after installation no shortcut in programs.
Tried to open a stream in PIE but doesn't open, instead it closes PIE too.
Opened streamingmedia.exe directly in Windows-dir and got an Error (screenshot).
Doesn't seem to be easy to get a streamingmedia.cab
Tried already all available cabs, but none working. :(

Tried shut down and restart your phone. Then click on the BioTouch to launch BioTouch. Wait a few seconds, then click on the Touch Flo. If the Cube comes up, congradulations. If not, check that you have HTC Home with the music plug-in turn on. And try the above procedures a few more times. I had black screens just like yours. But after a few times, somehow I got it to work.

Also note that if the Hermes keyboard is slided out and in, or it the screen orientation is changed to landscape and back to portrait, you would have to re-launched BioTouch.

Don't give up. Keep trying.

maybe you had a bad flash try flashing again. I am not using the hermes anymore but this hadnt happen to me.

you can use shap advance confiq to customise the home plugin.

touchflo sometimes work and sometimes doesnt. the trick is when you get it working and dont soft reset it works all the time.

Hi everybody, i have been using this rom for a week now and i really like it i still have 3 unsolved bugs i was wondering if anyone else had them also.

The batery ion on the upper right corner (between speaker and the taskmanager) does not update, it will stay also the same way since the state it wakes up in from a soft reset.

The Video Call has no video, i have the 3g dialer installed, i get a black screen on the video window on both the remote and the local (self) video, the person i am calling get's my video so it's not a problem with the my camera camera.

My car (Peugeot 307) has bluetooth built in that works like a headset, it can pair with no problems whit my wife's nokia, but not with the hermes, some people say that the problem is that the hermes identifyes itself as a PDA and not as a phone...

The first i think may be directly related with the rom, the BT one i don't think so.

I searched the forum before asking these questions and i didn't find any similar problems.
