I have had some bad experience with bluetooth headsets that cannot be used outdoors or while driving. At least not without any issues. I bought the british headset Evoq from Qstik (www.qstik.co.uk). It works very well and some reviewers says it outperforms the Jawbone (which isn't a real jawbone mic).
My initial tests shows good performance on both outgoing and incoming sound. I tried it while cycling and the conversation went well. Works perfectly with the Athena, no problems. It comes with a UK charger but it uses normal mini-usb connections, so it shouldn't be a problem finding a charger.
