also i have seen different colours on the net on kaiser can someone tell me what true colour it is as well. as the one on expansys looks nice while somewhere else looks dull

Haven't seen any avail in the US. Though Sandisk is selling them directly on their site (not sure where it would ship from). Of course, they are charging full price.

My question is how fast of a card is the Kaiser able to read? There are "class 2" and "class 4" SDHC cards. And I assume there will be faster ones developed/sold down the road. And of course, the faster they are, the more expensivethey tend to cost. So, how fast of a card can the Kaiser keep up with before you are "wasting money"? Anyone know or willing to venture a guess?

nup! it was just plugging the microSD card into my Kaiser, then after a while I need to eject and plug it back in. Computer not in the picture at all!

Had the same problem with my 4gb sdhc once but re-inserting corrected it too.

Kaiser after 1 week of using with 6GB microSDHC Sandisk card just removes all files from card, and after that reinsterting didn't help, the memory tab shows that card is filled in 50% but theres no files on it! Before using I maked full format, so kaiser, like artemis before had storage card issue

I formated using SK-Tools, transfered the content from my old 4GB to the new one.

- Sector size: 512 bytes
- Sector per cluster: 8
- Cluster size: 4096 bytes
- Backup copy of FAT: -
- Usable clusters: 1490123

According to the Resco Explorer -> Storage Card -> Properties
- Total space: 5.68 GB (5820.79 MB)
- Used space: 1.92 GB (1961.32 MB)
- Free space: 3.77 GB (3859.48 MB)

After restoring backup i maked low level format and normal format (not quick) with copy of fat partition. Hope that kaiser don't loose everything again...

I had the same problem with a 4gb card in my Prophet. Did some research and found folks attributing it to multiple and repeated write commands -- i.e., having your IE cache (or, in my case, Opera cache) placed on the storage card. Moving the cache to main memory solved the problem for me. That was a pain with the Prophet's limited memory, but with the Kaiser it's no problem! I also can report that the SanDisk 6gb works flawlessly (at least so far) -- but I'm making a backup just in case!!

There's no built-in formatter on the Kaiser; Pocket Mechanic or Resco Explorer will do it, and there are probably others. You should be getting a USB adapter with your 6GB card, so you can format it on your PC, if all else fails.

Anyway, the cards come pre-formatted, so you don't really need to reformat.
