Can somebody please help me. When i try to Track Location in google maps, I get a message saying 'Your GPS receiver does not appear to be responding'. I have tested the GPS with MemoryMap(PocketNav OS 2004) software and that reads GPS data without any problem.
I am using version 1.2.0.13 of google maps. My GPS settings in Windows->System->Settings->GPS are
GPS program port = COM4
GPS hardware port = None
Baud rate = 4800
Google maps is configured to use the GPS setting from windows.
Has anybody else had any luck with this or a different version of google maps?

same problem here 2
I saw a video review of the kaiser and the author said google maps works...but it took him about 4 min to get a lock.. and he suggets it's a problem from the google maps not the device itself

As i understand GMaps doesn't wait enough for the Kaiser. Use TomTom or a similar software for GPS initialization then switch to Google Maps and it works.

install the tomtom software in the CD, let it run initially and googlemaps should work fine. That's how I got mine to track location.

I got Google Maps working by using Windows Live Search first letting it get a position and then firing up Gopgle maps.
I agree Goggle Maps does not seem to wait long enough for the Kaiser before reporting an error.

Mine worked first time I tried it - did you run the GPS Quick Fix yet? Maybe that will help..
