Will the wizard screen work on a hermes?

I have searched and cannot find out if the Hermes uses the same screen as the wizard. i would like to replace the screen on this 8525 i bought and need to know if the screen from a wizard (8125 to be exact) will be compatible before i go opening it up?

well the thing is i've been waiting on cinguar but decided to get one with a broken screen. and so i've been reading and alot of members have had issues replacing the screens on hermes phones...something about different software???

I am fairly certain that you can not use the screen from the Wizard on a hermes - they apparenly use different touch digitizers which is part of the reason that the touch cube works on the wizard and not the hermes - sorry :(

i got a copy of the service manual and one of the part numbers for the lcd set is T D 0 2 8 S T E B 1. So i im gonna try the one i got for my wizard seeing it was a replacement with the same Model number(ebay).
This means that if it works i won't be selling the lcd with my busted 8125, but shed no tears because i will still be selling an excellent condition housing with everything else inside and the buy it now price will be $60. Wish me luck!

alright, alright, so i didn't make my first ROM from scratch yet but boys(and girls where applicable) i just found a solution for the hermes broken screen. ok, here goes. the T D 0 2 8 S T E B 1 model number sceen for the wizard will work for the hermes100, how do i know this? because i did it today:D . no extra mods needed just swap and reset. so to answer many people asking the wizard screen can work on a hermes as long as it's the T D 0 2 8 S T E B 1 and maybe others but right now that is one i know will work. stay tuned as i may be selling one of the 8525's and one of my 8125's i got on ebay with a surprise;) .
