Hi everyone,

I've got a major problem, I upgraded to PDAVIET's ROM.
Because I wanted to use TouchFlo.
But now TouchFlo doesnt want to start.
What is causing this problem?

I have tried all other ROM's ( Touch-IT full, Touch-IT v2.0, PDAVIET's rom, OEM rom with TouchFlo ).

After installing this ROM, everything works great except I can't enable scroll. I can check it in the TF settings, but nothing happens.

I have been using this rom for the better part of 2 months. It is the most stable touch enabled rom for the wing I have found. No real issues. Other roms have sync, wifi, or internet sharing issues. They all work well on this one. Give it a try. You will be happy you did.

That's true this rom is very good, I've used it for a long time in the past as well. You can't really go wrong with PDAVIET roms.

Sure, install a instant message client. If you search, this forum, the OZ cab is out there somewhere ... and there are many other alternatives as well.

Can someone post the values from HKLM/SOFTWARE/HTC/AUDIOGAIN with the 4.17.07.14 rom. I had to go back to the stock t-mo rom because of battery drain issues but the sound levels suck on the oem rom! They were perfect on this ROM!

Ok guys, The author allowed the release of the tool necessary to get past the CID lock of the Wing.

Here is what you need in order to install this ROM.

-Download this file

PASSWORD is : PDAVIET

-Download this file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=52181&d=1190842306

-Unzip and place the "RUU_Signed.nbh" file from the "HERA_Wing_v4.10.07.14_PDAVIET_NBH.rar" inside the RUU folder of the USPL tool.

-Run the Herald-uspl.exe file and follow the on screen instructions.



EDIT ::: Once the installation is complete, be sure to go to SETTINGS, CONNECTIONS and run the NETWORK WIZARD, which will setup all your phone settings for the T-mobile network (MMS, Internet, etc...)

Depending on when you downloaded it i believe it is update just read the date of the update on the first post.

i'm wondering too. i just flashed this rom on my wing two days ago and it's the best rom i've ever had. responds instantly, doesn't freeze, great look. the only problem is that it doesn't sync !! which is a biggie for me cuz i need to sync my contacts and appointments every couple of days. i don't really wanna flash back to another one just for that reason cuz i really like this one. when i have a little more free time i'll try to do some searching but hopefully 4.17 fixes that issue.

I have download this file as well and I get the same .. Maybe its all a mis print . I have so far flashed about a dozen wings with this and nobody has complained yet . Guess its time to flash my own .

hey guys i have a successful instal of the touchflo rom reflash however for some odd reason it works and my bluetooth that i use at work connects but now a day later of having the new rom i get an error when i try and use bluetooth , Error problem with bluetooth hardware. is anyone else having this problem or should i get another rom update??

I have never sen the bluetooth error. Can I have a screen shot ? Have you added any other apps , tweaks , reg - edits or apps. Any of these can conflict with your phones performance.

3. how do i shut this phone off now? holding the power button for a few seconds was the method before. now that only reboots it. 4. when in touchflo screen mode, when i select pictures or video, how do set the default folder to open?
5. last one i can think of. um i accidentally messed up the today screen, by adding my own picture as a background :rolleyes:. i realized it didn't look good, so i put it back, but now i have blue bars top and bottom. how do i get my black bars again.

sorry to be such a noob, but weren't we all at some time?

OK ... Let me see what I can do to help. As I already removed this rom from my phone now. The task menu i have never personally removed but i have seen it gone in a few roms. I never used the today screen people but that is either a bug or your set up as i never seen a mis-match no matter where i see the contacts at. And to turn the pone off you can install psShutXP.

Now for the pictures and video which program is opening them maybe i can help if I know how you are viewing them. I its htc album to the best of my memory i too didn't see a place to change it . I would guess there is a reg-edit to change the programs default folder.

And the today screen has a few options as themes. All the themes don't show a clean screen . As I don't remember which themes there are I do believe the win xp or default win screen is a no go.

Ok I just tried that program myself for the first time. It seems it puts the phone in a dormant state. But my power button still does turn off my phone but im on a different rom right now. I don't remember my phone ever not turning off with any roms or I know I would have posted it.

If you haven't done too many tweaks or changes you might want to hard reset. If thats too much for you then don't do it. Maybe somebody else has experienced that problem.

I managed to brick my phone once and through reading posts fixed it. Installed rom and theme and new radio.
I must say I am loving it. Was able to get phone to lock Sync and have been playing around a lot. Got the Kobi Theme installed and It works.

Here is the brand new rom version for T-mobile Wing. It has been modified based on the OS of Wing (thanks to Mr PhamQuang from PDAViet) and included TouchFlo. :)

This rom is the same as the version TOUCHFLO v4.17.07.12 PDAVIET (based on HTCs' OS), but for Wings' users only because of the keyboard. I am sure that from now on there is no more complain about the keyboard problem. :p

How to flash it? Just extract the nbh file by nbhtool. Then you can flash the extracted OS with Aserg's method.

It has a quite big storage compared with the original Shipped rom and TouchFlo runs well! ;)
