EDIT: 10/10/07 NEW grey icons theme. I have been working for a while on new icons and finally found some that I like. The apple background has been removed, I'll replace it if you wish. The theme is very clean and fresh! It is also by far the smallest theme as far as memory usage (under 100kb), very tiny!

Saw the jps of blue and green theme but when I downloaded theme, I only see many files but not the file that I can rename to theme.cmt, unlike the orange theme that I downloaded, I could easily used it. Hope to download the blue and green theme to try out. Thanks.

It is very easy...when you download one of the themes it is in a .zip file, dont open the file. just rename it to theme.cmt and replace the theme.cmt in your pocketcm 0.13 folder with the one you just renamed. Hope that clarifies it for you

Ok .. it's a wrap, lol. The white marble is all I needed and THANK YOU SO MUCH. The best. White marble (for me) is a tough act to follow. Very simplistic, so easy on the eyes, and just what I'm looking for. It's a bigger file, but worth it to me.

What about themes with simple background abstract images, cartoons (ie simpsons, etc), operations systems images (ie vista, linux, xp, etc)? for instance, I'm in the process of "pimping" my herald with luis vuitton(?) themes. I successfully made my home screen, touch flo cube, comunication manager, and phone pad luis vuitton. Having the pocket cm with a lv theme would be the icing on the cake.

Just and update, I included to pics of pocketcm using the louie v theme, which is great ... but as you can see, the text is white against a white background, the four icons on the bottom are kind of grainy upon opening app. Also, the sub-menu's background is black, not the louie v theme. You can also see the white square on the upper left hand corner as well. In the time being, I will revert to the marble theme, which is really good, (but the louie v theme is twice as better. Hope the pictures attached helps.

Thanks a million for what you're doing, for I'm a huge fan of your work. As far as the text goes .. what's usually depicted on my device (herald) is the "address" right of the icon/symbol when viewing individual contacts, which is now (and viewable) there since I installed version .13 again. Also, in the marble theme, the white square is not there, neither was it there when I had the default black theme. Maybe something in my phone's settings.

Just some more ideas for themes .. like Prada, (someone mentioned sport teams), operating systems, Burberry, D&G (Dolce Gabanna), even people/musicians/artists/movie stars, even cars and cartoon characters. Of course the themes have to be compatible to the pocket cm version as well. Just a thought. Thanks again

I haven't encountered any bugs with the updated louie v theme and it looks cleaner. Thanks to you (spencepu3, and others), my herald is complete as complete can be with the "pimp'd" out pocketcm louie v theme, which includes my today screen, phonepad, Cube w/ colors icons, 10 button communication manager, and now the pocketcm .14b. A calender louie v theme would be nice, :D.

Download Louis Vuitton.zip .
Rename it to Louis Vuitton.cmt.
Copy renamed file to PocketCM installation folder.
Goto Settings---> Choose Theme and select Louis Vuitton.

No they have to be in the same folder as PocketCM.exe, however the files are not that big so it won't hurt to store them in your windows folder

Doesn't tried this theme, but to me it sounds like he meant the big letter preview in the A..Z index bar which appears when pressing on the left or right side of the screen for quick search...just a thought

I like the effects of the blue glow. I also like having the battery meter displayed better than the previous signal strenth. I find the icons to appear slightly blurred, and it seems the dark area were the letters appear when texting has transfered to other themes i use.Is this the case with anyone else?

I downloaded the file NewUI.zip from Rapidshare, but I cannot open the zip file. It says that the file is either corrupted or unsupported format. In either case, I downloaded it twice just to make sure that I got it right, and same thing happened. Can you upload it again? Maybe a different server? Thanks.

That is what I thought. I tried to extract it from the zip by using WinZip, but nothing. I get the error message that I told you about earlier.

Should I have done something else instead? I'm using v. 0.15 pocketcm.

Kind of a dumb question but did you put the pocketcm folder back onto your phone after you switched the files or is the folder already on your phone. As long as the .cmt file is in the same folder as pocketcm.exe on your phone then it should work. Try a soft reset

What I normally do is basically swtich the cmt (theme) file with the one that's already the pocketcm folder on the device. No major worries for me now because I will definitely worry if I can't get your next theme to install correctly:D

Select the one you wish to implement... and that's it. Good part is that now you can save as many themes as you want in the folder and select the one to use.

The blurriness gives it a brushed metal kind of look and it smooths everything out, I don't think it takes away from the theme

What about different and shades for colors like forest green, midnight or electric blue, rusty yellow, earthy brown, crimson red, with glow icons, etc. The slight bluriness of the bottom icons is a nice touch, and refreshing to see something different, which lacks in many themes, and apps in general. Just a thought.

Not to get ahead of myself but I'm working on the pitch black theme with a whole new set of icons (they are glossy black and completely original, maybe ill get a screenshot up tonight :)) not to get anyones hopes up cuz it might not be done for a couple days maybe a week to fix all the bugs. I will do what I can, converting to VGA takes time and completely redrawing every image, I cant just blow up the images without pixelating them. However if I get some spare time and enough interest then your wish will be my command :)

Nice job of the icons, I have been using BlueGlow for a while now and if I had one criticism it would be the fuzzy looking icons, so would it be feasible at some point to rework BlueGlow with the new icons?

very very simplistic and small. I'm glad you left the "Apple" icon out. The icons looks very clean and smooth. Goes perfect with my grey theme.

It is very easy...when you download one of the themes it is in a .zip file, dont open the file. just rename it to theme.cmt and replace the theme.cmt in your pocketcm 0.13 folder with the one you just renamed. Hope that clarifies it for you

0.16 and 0.15 themes are totally different. So you need a 0.16 theme if you want to get theming for 0.16, and old theme for older version.

If you use an old theme with new version, you'll get something that looks like the default white theme.

None of my themes work for version .18, this is an old thread for previous versions i developed themes for. If you want a color theme all you have to do is search there are quite a few. this is my favorite: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=356419

Hmmm, not sure which one you're talking about...main page of PocketCM? Try the home page www.pocketcm.com.
Make sure you reboot your device each time you apply a new theme.
