Does it work on your device?

Mine does not ...

In the "Setting -> Power -> Advanced" I set :

On battery power:
[ ] Turn off device ...

On external power:
[ x ] Turn off device if not used for 15 minutes

[ ] When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to PC

Then last night, I attached the device to the USD cable connected to my device. So, it is on external power.

This morning, I found the device was not turned off !

However, I got 1 sms though ... could that be the problem? The SMS woke up the device and then never turned off again.

Bug ..................................

Anyone tested this?

I tested with 1 minute, and it was not turned off.

Is it because of ActiveSync? So, it is considered being used ...

yes this is because of the sync. External power and syncing are two entirely different things. Plug it into the power cord and not your computer and it will shut off just as you have it set. :)
