trackball on my Orbit seems to not work well anymore.
It lost "right" direction, only up/down/left work.
When I move it with my finger towards right, I feel ball not rotating and, in mouse mode, does not move to right.
Could it be only a problem about filth, or that part is really defective?
Is there a way to clean ?

Is the rollr "stiff" when rolled? Something similar happened to me with my BB Curve. I put a slighty about of water on my thumb and rolled the ball like normal. After a few times of doing this, all the crud was removed and it worked normally.
*note* this "fix" is probably not the best way as water + electronics = paperweight. but my Curve was under warranty and i used a very small amount of water

i've not had a problem with this (surprisingly, i've had my phone for a year and it lives in my pocket)
I would suggest using some solvent and spraying that around the ball and then rolling it for a bit. Contact Cleaner would also work :)

In my case it was only a problem with filth.
I solved it without disassembling, just pushing the ball with a finger towards not working edge and with the other finger tryng to roll in the opposite direction.
Now it seems to work quite well, even if I still can't undestand why in htc did not think to an easy system for cleaning.

Hey guys I've just resolved the exact problem on my Artemis, thank you for the idea, it was only dirty and I've spray it with little screen cleaning liquid ( it doesn't contain alcohol) and after 2-3 rols the left side is working again :)
