WM5 does not connect to active sync

In wm6 there is an option un the connection menu where you can use a check box to use 'advanced usb connection' or sonething like that.
I allways had to untich that box for AS to work.

but where is that option in wm5 ?is it even there ?

i also tried a program which was pointed to in the Uni wiki.

Do you use XP or Vista?

If XP,
Install active sync 4.5, open connection settings, check all the boxes, re-try.

If else;
what else?

does not work.

i think its a MDA related not Active sync.

i get a USB hardware not recognised sound ... ( 3x times low ding )
instead of usb device recognised (low and high ding )
