i tried to install wm6 for my device but the install failed and i was stuck with a red, green and blue screen that displays IPL 2.28.0001 and SPL 2.28.0001.... can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

not really a problem, just flash back your official WM5 ROM.. That rainbow screen is called the bootloader screen.. Can you see usb at the bottom of the screen

Download Wizard Love Rom then... it should enable you to boot your mobile phone again!

softSPL requires you to have a working OS...

For you to be able to flash Wizard Love, you need RUU_NoID.

If the device has RUU in the bootloader that is easy to fix:

Connect your phone to the usb
kill wcescomm.exe in taskmanager
open mtty.exe

connect throug: \.\\wces*** port
and in the white screen:
press [enter]
->now a CMD will pop up
@CMD type:
password XTC[enter]
ruurun 0[enter]
ResetDevice[enter]
The device will now reboot

If the OS is OK it will boot the OS, otherwise it will stop at either Bootloader or 3rd splash.

Hi there, bro I can find it for you, I must just know in which country you live and what operator. Like I live in South Africa and use the wwe rom from I-mate itself as original base rom, Netherlands is orange I think, so these details needs to be known as a wrong rom might render it useless. (Bricked, dead kapoot etc....)
