msn messenger missing on T-Mobile mda compact III

Hi

I have a vanilla install of the tmobile mda compact III. It is missing the msn messenger program.

I searched everywhere here for a solution to the missing msn messenger on the T-Mobile mda compact III, but couldnt find an answer. Perhaps Im just rubbish at searching. Anyway, found a solution somewhere else, so am posting here just incase somebody else hasnt already posted.

Basically, you can install a copy of msn messenger 2002 for pocket pc. after installing it will not run or do anything. Then install the msn messenger 2003 update, and it will suddenly purr to life.

Wont actually work unless you have web 'n' walk Plus. The standard web n walk will work every now and then but its so random. You officially cnat use it according to the Terms of Service. You need WnWPlus to use it,

messenger live seems to work fine on web n walk

chances are it will die. Mine worked for a short while then they became wise and it was disabled.

my live messenger works fine also pocket msn is supplied its on the application disk under extras
