safe WM5 ROM for my G4

i would like to downgrade to WM5 official ROM,
i got one from this link http://www.tm-phonedownloads.com/dow...mda_vario.html

but this is not safe for G4 device coz it bricked someonesfone in G4 forum..
where can i have a safe base ROM for my G4 device, the one that wont harm my IPL/SPL so that i could downgrade back to WM5...

If you had read carefully, you would have known that that rom didn't brick his device.
He HAD that ROM but then decided to flash an older ROM which didn't contain the G4 IPL/SPL, thus bricking his device by flashing G3 IPL/SPL.

Officiall ROM of your provider is safe to flash in normal way...
Fro example I have CID locked G4 MDA Vario from T-Mobile CZ so I can flash T-Mobile CZ ROM without any problems in a normal way (without SoftSPL, shelltools etc. - just normally).
In fact I do this before every flashing of a custom WM6 ROM

I tried to flash RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship to unlock CID.... I used SoftSPL-V0.1 to make it. But there is one thing more... Why try flashing a stock ROM with sSPL?
you can flash an original stock rom to your cid-locked device without sSPL.

Sad but true, if you flash a G4 unsafe rom thats it, your device is bricked. Equinoxe made a perfect softspl in my opinion and if other users dont take the time to read what he says and bricks their device its on their head, not his.

you can use Typho5, http://www.savefile.com/files/1066484

Please follow these steps to the dot.

1. Extract typo 5 to root. "c:\typho5\
2. Copy the nk.nbf file of your os to c:\typho5\
3. Go to command prompt and type "cd\" "cd typho5" "typho5 -x nk.nbf
4. You will see the info in the command prompt regarding the os you want to flash. Please delete all files afterwards except typho5.exe and nk.nbf.

Please tell us your ipl/spl first. Softspl is G4 only.

i already used sSPL with TNT 5.0, thanks to equinoxe tool for that..

currently, i have IPL/SPL of 2.26.0001 so its a G4.

Dude its hard to keep track when you are working "me" and discussing the same thing on this thred also Read my reply on the other thred. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1522298#post1522298 And also I would recommend downgrading to your official wm5 rom, if you know it is safe and have done it before.

Hi ,I have a kjam which is dead now. I have bootloader in 3color and also detect usb but I couldent downgrade and uograde . pls direct me and interduce some linke which shows the suitable rom and the software which I can flashing my rom or doing best like hspl or sspl without activesynce connectivity.
kjam wizard g4 series ending with 0001
