How to disable the mouse pointer ?

Hi everybody :)

I'd like to know if it's possible to definitly disable the mouse pointer on the Artemis. I explain : I know you can activate or deactivate the mouse pointer with the arrow button in the HTC Home plug, but many times, while quitting Tomtom, the mouse pointer activates itself (with or without HTC Home plug loaded on the Today screen), and that upsets me...
Do one of you have ever encounter this kind of problem ?

Je voudrais savoir s'il est possible de désactiver une fois pour toute le pointeur de souris de l'Artemis. Je m'explique : je sais qu'il est possible d'activer ou désactiver le pointeur de souris depuis le HTC Home plug, mais à de nombreuses reprises, en quittant Tomtom, la souris s'est activée toute seule (que le plug HTC soit présent ou pas dans le Today Screen), et ça me rend dingue...
Est-ce que l'un d'entre vous aurais déjà rencontré ce genre de problème ?

Do you mean you dont want the mouse pointer to be shown at all?

that would be done by going to...
start > Settings > System
> Mouse Mode and unchecking Enable Mouse mode

yes, that's exactly what i'd like to have !
I'm already in in mouse mode disabled, but sometimes... (many times in fact) the mouse mode change when i quit Tomtom and i don't know why nor how to prevent it...

Check that you dont have one of your soft keys assign to mouse mode. HTH

It is not a soft key, it is TomTom, when you quite it sometimes activates the mouse even if it is turned off in settings.

I have the same issue... you need to create a shortcut to toggle the mouse on and off... see the attached thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323256

Then you can assign the shortcut to a button - I use Hbutton and have it as the second hold on the windows key.

ANOTHER OPTION IS TO SOMEHOW REMOVE/RENAME MOUSEMODE.EXE IN WINDOWS...
