Hi,
Couldnt find any suitable sub-forum so I just try my luck here.
My incoming SMS doesnt have sound despite having it enable in the sound notification. any help?

have you adjusted the master volume?that is the speaker sign at the top of the phone in the today screen.that is the master volume.if you didnt turn it on,it wont ring.

Do other notifications work (ie e-mail, reminders)?

Are you using any profile software like sbp Phone Suite?

If you have a bluetooth headset, are these notifications been routed through it instead of the main speaker somehow?

Just some thoughts.

did you install wisbar advance?heard there have been cases where PPC installed with it just wont ring.

I think phone suite doesnt affect it, but rather another SMS program that prevent the sound notification. In the end, I reinstall the firmware. Dont think is wisbar advance as I install it after firmware. But the wisbar has got problem in uninstalling it.

i think the problem arises when wisbar is installed regardless of when..
