I have an MDA Compact III -
Does anyone run route 66 on their device?I am trying to find out whether the software can use the integrated GPS or only works with a bluetooth device?
Thanks in advance!

I have TomTom and Route 66 on my MDA Compact III.
Both work fine but if I had to choose one, TomTom gets the vote.

It is a very close call for me between TomTom and Route 66 as they both work very well on the Artemis, the BIG plus point with Route 66 is the free traffic data which is part of the purchase price, TomTom traffic costs extra per year - so if Traffic data is important as well as saving some dosh I would go with Route 66 - Mike

I prefer IGO, but this tread wasn't who likes what, it was if the intern GPS module can be used in route 66. I've the same problem within IGO, just can't find the GPS module... anyone knows what the problem can be?

Route 66 and TomTom both find and use the internal GPS device on the Artemis, what have you got the port set to in iGO - it should be Com4, at Baud 9600, is the application actually starting the GPS (the give away is the amber flashing LED) if not look at using something like Fransons GPS Gate which can start the GPS hardware in the Artemis - Mike
