Well, I presume everyone understands english, so I wont continue my faulty online translation thing :)

I have corrected most bugs, that I can correct.

Disclaimer:
I take NO responsebility if you brick your device, if you do search the forums before you come flaming me/us here at XDA.

IF you brick your phone (Brick=the phone can be used as a building brick, or maybe a paperweight? Because you cant start it up.) Its no others fault but your own.
Mainly the reason for bricking a phone is:
1. Not reading the instructions good enough
2. Not following the instructions.
3. Not having a RUU that can unbrick the phone (the official installer with the official rom for your specific phone, with your phones default language. In.ex if yu have a german phone by default, you need a german RUU, if not you will get invalid vendor error)
4. Not reading the instructions good enough..again
5. Not following the instructions...again

If you dont understand after reading CAREFULLY, then dont bother flash your device with this or any other rom.

I also recommend to use the pagepool changer found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324955
I did nothing to the pagepool, because ppl have different experience with diffrent size on the pagepool, so thats why I leave that up to you
to find the correct pagepool size for your device.

That´s great that you cook a german rom.

I would be VERY happy when i could flash my XDA terra with an ENGLISH version. Because I hate my german nativ language on Computer.

BUT i´m too afraid to brick my device the third time and there is still no chance for unbricking a O2 Terra.

But there will be many people loving the german version.

I prefere a english one when o2 releases a terra update.

Second? There is no shortcut for TouchFLO settings... so I cant activate the cube. EDIT3: found it... windows/startmen.... the folder is simply named incorrect. EDIT4: Cube is buggy! after activating it my herald crashes after booting. At another case his Herald is rebooting in a loop after activating cube. Cube deactivated and works fine now...

Oh yes, and there are 2 empty folders in programs. (multimedia & programme)

pp changer works fine.

The bug with the startbutton is something that comes with the touchflo, I havnt figured out that one yet, but I must admit I havnt studied so much how to fix it either, but its easy to change by reassigning it in settings.

Ill look into the folder and missing stuff, guess its the german folder names that I have wrong when assigning where diffrent programshortcut goes, ill look into it this weekend.

The loop is something that some ppl experience for diffrent reasons that I dont know, some ppl have no problems, and some get that problem. I think it might be a problem related to storage cards on some devices, what kind of storage card do you have?
I have sandisk 2gb, never had any kind of issues with it.

There has been no change to the cube settings other then translating from english to german, but maybe the paths is incorrect. I dont have time to flash it before saturday, my phone needs to be on always right now. But ill check it out myself on saturday.

But if anyone wanna help, write down correct paths for folders in german rom, with no mistakes in spelling.

in.ex
windows/start menu/programs.....
windows/my documents/videos
etc etc
if there is space between names like in english "start menu" I need to know that too.

Find the bugs in it now, cause if there is more after i upload fix, I wont be able to fix it for along time.

turn off batterystatus, soft reset then start it again, that helped me on an earlier pdaviet rom.
But 4mb pagepool is often unstable and unreliable. Sometimes 4mb works fine, sometimes not. works for me though :)
I think the updatet rom will be up by sunday evening sometime, I hope the pathnames and directories will be alright in final version.

i have looked through all paths in initflashfiles in my packages
they are in.ex like this:

Windows\Startmenü\Programme\TouchFlo
so according to your and another guy that helped with names on the paths, I allready have all the correct paths for icons and links.
So what happens I dont know yet.

Hi Megabug,

you can change it with the tool BioTouch Settings" in the TouchFlo folder.

First Line under the tab "Mediahub" lets you choose between mediaplayer and audioplayer.

Hi Itje,

at first I have to thank you for setting up TouchFlo in german language. I use it for about 2 days and it works great. Megabug is right with those 2 folders in the wrong language for start menue. But the solution is quiet easy: copy those contents to the right folder "start menü" and everything works great.

But I have recognized that tools like "shaps advanced config tool" or others for tweaking windows don´t work after installing your TouchFlo. So I have to edit the registry for my own. Not very bad but a "nice to have feature" if it would work.

So, please go on working like that. It´s great. You´re the first one who is cooking ROM in german language and sare it with others. We all need guys like you.

very very very very very very mutch for this absolutelty "porno-ROM"

I flashed it two hours ago. I had absolutely no problems, everything works grat.

1. Schap`Advanced, do not use the Ver 0.9, use the Version 1.0. This works for me without any problems.
2. Copy the all the files from the wrong named "Startmen.."-folder to the Folder Windows/Startmenü/Programme. Then you can delete the othe folders (Startmeny and Startmen).
3. Copy all the files in folder ProgramFiler into the folder Mein Gerät/Programme/Windows Media Player.
And thats it.

For me averything worked absolutely correct, the cube, touch flo,battery satus,media player, Bluetooth,WiFi....everything.

At least I say it again Itje you are my hero.

hmm, I dont understand why the startmenüs ü is boxed, all the foldernames is spelled correctly in my files. But Ill try do some deeper digging.
but I will fix the other pathnames and folders that is incorrect.

When it comes to shaps advanced config tool, I tried to cook that into the roms, but it failed, crashed the device all the time unfortunatly.

Im not sure what cause the audiomanager/mediaplayer bug, but ill look into it, does it work for some of you or is it a bug on everyones device?

OK. the thing with the appointment is no buck.
You only have to set the date settings for long and short date in the Regionsettings(Ländereinstellungen)correct.

yeah, well, I dont really look at stuff like the calendar as a bug, so I usually dont reply to those questions, because its easy to figure out by yourself :)
Im gonna try support if there is real bugs, but I have looked through the whole rom , and cant find the bugs with the incorrect pathways, something must happen during the flashprosess that makes the "bugs" appear, this is the only way to flash our devices at this time, and I have noticed that "issiues" can happen.
In.ex I can flash a rom, 2 times, same rom, but it acts diffrent. Sometimes its flawless, and fast, next time its slow, laggy and full off bugs..so what happens, I do not know....

hello itje please help me out i only installed this rom because of touchflo and now there is no touch flo in any programs direction, do not know why. i have seen the other additional programs you added: psShutXp, GlossyBlack Bars, Display Switch, Network Configuration and so on.

I dont know why touchflo dont show up in right folder, cause it has same path as the other.

you cant remove apps cooked in the rom, and as I have posted before, there will come no more versions in german, but if big bugs is in it, ill make a fix.

So, take it or leave it. :)

The 0409 is changed to german 0407 on all apps, if not it would not work, if you want german on the commmanager, you must install a cab over the default one, where to fund I dont know

itje i got another question. i saw the original cube on kaiser or touch (seen it on youtube some while ago) and the cube is different from your/tom cordons version of the touchflo. is there no contribution or something else that you can make more movements, for example pulling it down to another menü (also a cube should be 4 sided, that would be much better).

also i saw a cube configuration tool or something like that for customizing. does it work on a non official cube like in the touch it rom?

thanks again for your great work. I just installes your final version and it works. Where is the "start clean"-Tool for? I´ve seen it in several ROMs but it does nothing when i try to start it.

What´s about the integration of Office 2007 into your ROM. Most of the official ROMs have the old one. I could send you the german files if you like to integrate it.

1. last night i was on my computer cutting pictures for the contactcube. i made them in different measures, for example 100*101, 100*86, 100*98, aso but the pictures look horrible in my opinion, there are pixels all over the faces .... is there any given format for those pictures or could the cube not show them better?

2. can i get icons like internet, mailing, aso also for other stuff in the same design? havent found anything


and i found a problem that was now 3 times in the last 2 days -> when i left the cube to the today screen sometimes the top navigation bar with start aso is not there, only if i make a reset of the device, maybe you can fix that

I cant flash any german Touch IT ROM and i dont know why.
I have now your english version Touch IT v1.1 Beta without problems.
But i wanted realy the german version.
I make this steps (for the german rom):
I flash first the official rom from htc.
Then i connect the phone with the pc as "guest".
Then i install the ASerg Policies.CAB in the phone.
I make a softreset.
Then i have my phone with a flightmode.
Then i run "upgrate_rom.bat".
In 8 minutes is the prozess finish without errors.
In the end the playsound.exe doesnt run, but i think its not so importend.
Then i make a hard reset.
After hard reset i see only a white screen with the htc logo (nothing else and the phone doesnt boot) and i must to flash again the official ROM from bootloader.

Are my steps wrong???
The same steps i make in the english Touch IT v1.1 Beta and all is ok.

I have trying without the storage card, but i have the same problem.
I can flash only this version: "Touch IT v1.1 Beta", nothing else.
All the other ROMs are not working in my device.
I dont know why!!!

its a bug in the tochfloprogram, Im not a programmer, so I cant fix anything there.

Hi,

I use this version and I really love it. And yes, I´m german speaking :-)

If you read this thread you can see that there are 3 folders named in foreign languages. Copy its content in the right german folder and it works.

The touchUser Interface is in some cases translated and in some not. So ist the CommManaer still in English. But those UIs which are translated are well done.

So test it and you can make your own opinion of it. In my mind it´s the only one who is really running the cube.

the screenshots are from my norwegian rom, if you read about this you would notice that its based on the german wm6 ruu, only apps are translated, as far as I was able too :)

I got an german o2 XDA Terra so my S/N is blocked for the HTC eClub..but i think u already know.

Is anyone here how did the update on a blocked Terra before?
Is it posible or will I brick my device?
And whats about warranty if my PPC is brocken anytime?

hey, i flashed my terra today and i also have a german o2 XDA Terra! at first flashing failed, after the second attempt it worked and i think the problem was, that i didn´t name the phone "Guest" at the first attempt. while flashing i got a message on the terra display "Unknown Error", but it worked!

i don't like the idea to brick my new terra (got it today) and have no chance unbrickin' it exept handing it in to O2...

Hi,
very nice ROM.
But i have one problem, touchflo.exe didn't run.
When i want to open it, there is no cube.
I have moved the touchflo folder from the old startmenu (with boxed u) to the german startmenü, is this the reason why it doesn't work?

Please help me.

Hallo, habe gerade versucht , dass Touch IT german zu installieren.
Alles nach Anleitung. Erst das HARD-SPL ohne Probleme und anschließend das TouchIT. Nach dem Hardreset kommt jetzt nur noch das CanonYang Logo und unten steht "Now you're HardSPL"

leider geht es nicht mehr weiter.
Brauche hilfe.

Im Bootloader komme ich mit Softreset und Kamerataste Problemlos. USB wird auch angezeigt nur was muss ich dann machen ?
