phone?

hi guys my first post using my hermes!

i have the hanset and everything works perfectly except the phone (pretty fundemental i know!)

if i hit the phone icon or try access the phone through the menu it doesnt go to the keyboard at all, also its showing an ! next to the reception bar on top of the home screen.

was wondering if i needed to change the radio rom to have it working correctly?

any advice would be much apprechiated. i have moved from the htc prophet which i have to say has been very good to me, and never had any problems of this kind.

apart from writing about hermes in trinity ;)

then it sounds like your phone dont have a valid sim
or have a sim which is waiting for a sim code to be typed in
before it want to start the phone
