hello,
how do i use serial port profile on xda II mini to connect it at my bluetooth internet shares? xda II mini support spp (serial port profile) but as i tick on 'outgoing/incoming port' on it remains BLANK. The only thing it could do is bluetooth pairing...
my bluesoleil is working fine on symbian phones on internet connection but this w/c i expect to be much easier turns out the opposite.

if your profile support PAN then

otherwise if you are connected to activesync over bluetooth you have
the same network access as the pc unless you turned it off

thanks for reply and info, but xda II mini seems to miss out BLUETOOTH PAN USER DRIVER (under start -> settings -> connections -> network cards).
the only available are:
NE2000 Compatible ethernet driver
L2TP NDISWAN miniport
AsyncMac NDISWAN miniport
PPTP NDISWAN miniport
another problem is im using a client machine behind XP ICS host, setting another ICS on client xp machine will now use the same 192.168.0.1 ip, my other option is to set the bluetooth PAN on the host. Any other ideas?

using xda activesync is also a problem, whenever i click on 'activesync' -> 'connect using bluetooth', nothing happens. but click on the 'connect using IR' it looks for a host... i read somewhere that removing bluetooth pairs will help but no luck.
sorry, im quite new on xda's
wbr,
p.s. im using xp sp2

"y other option is to set the bluetooth PAN on the host."
if your pda dont have PAN then doing anything with PAN on the pc will result in nothing in related to your pda

== all the guides you could wish for for setting up activesync using bluetooth
it may be an easier option to use wifi or wifi adhoc
if your pda dont have wifi you can buy an SDIO card which have wifi
