No, this is the original release rom, and exactly the same one that everyone currently is running. Therefore the problem that we have is going to be in there.

The only thing that this rom will allow us to do is to start investigating HardSPL etc ...

I did not get this message. I was using WinXP and i've got an unlocked Kaiser.

This is the ROM the phone came with originally, but then I loaded the AT&T Rom from an earlier post by incognitho....but I dont like all the crap AT&T loads on their roms so now i'm back to the original factory shipped version.

This is a great ROM. I've been on AT&T ROMs with my phone since day one. for those of you already on HTC's ROM, don't bother trying the AT&T ROMs. All my pet peeves are gone - no more audio glitches during long tracks, no more installing the already-built-in HTCHome apps (and losing the related storage memory), and a set of working symbols on the keyboard! As with the previous ROMs, it is still necessary to tweak certain values (e.g. font cache to 32768) for best performance (rendering web pages).

I miss the 6th tab (audio player) in the HTC Home today plugin (the audio but everything else feels more integrated. Seems the Task Manager doesn't always close an app with the X... will try to upgrade to v2.0. Also touch screen sensitivity is a lot lower than it was in the AT&T ROMs.

As to BT issues people are reporting, I have a Sony-Ericsson HBH-DS980 stereo headset. It has worked fine for voice communication with both sets of ROMs (aT&T, HTC). I do find the audio quiet, but just the same volume as the plug-in headphones that come with the unit. It isn't the problem that others describe though... I can use the audio boost on the unit to hear better. There is a noticable buzzing when at the highest volume, which is more annoying for music than phone calls. BTW I love how the phone's volume level adjusts automatically when my headset connects and disconnects!

Software I'm using includes TomTom, O2+, GB-Soft Tweak and KaiserNotification. I can't get the color battery app ("PK & Bennec83 Clean 3G, New Battery") to work. :(

I didn't really find anything worth keeping. There's a musicID app, XMRadio app and some MP3s in the ROM but they weren't interesting to me.

The CID is same as the HTC rom.

little trick in your personal settings you can increase the number of posts shown per thread to 50. Also this is probably the ROM thats already installed on your Kaiser unless you have an AT-T tilt. If you do have a different ROM whats the build and OS number?

Unfortunately today I realized that the camera back, one of three mpx, when it is active, I get to a center red line.
Until yesterday there was not, I have already done a hard reset, but nothing like the active camera reappears, while the camera front all ok.

I have been using this ROM for just over a day now, prior to this i tried the Schaps and Q Mobile, which were both too quirky and flaky, whereas this is excellent very stable, quick and no glitches to speak of.

Even versus the original T Mobile ROM, this is way better, bluetooth via the car is now back to normal, other silly things like the email starting half way in and certain keyboard keys not working (i.e. TAB) are now all working fine, plus battery life is very good.

Think i'll be staying with this for a while :D

When I was using the above radio, I was able to get at least 3-4 bars on my 3G/HSDPA reception at home. But when I flashed to my local carrier's official ROM, the radio got changed to 1.27.12.11. The reception dropped to 1 bar. I've since tried other radios, but none have given me the same level of reception as the former.

The South East Asia HTC Member's Club haven't got any TyTN II ROMs for download, at least none that I can find. Or am I going to the wrong place?

I just bought my TYTN 2 seconds ago via expansys. It's a french version (because we belgians use azerty keyboards) but I prefer English so I'm going to install the official "!!!HTC Kaiser RELEASE ROM!!!". If my French rom will be a newer version I will dump if first here.

Can someone tell me why I wouldn't want the official rom but another one instead? (I don't care about it consuming less space btw, I'll just insert an sd-card)

And why the hell would I want to install the "Dutty's DualTouch V3 Final" ROM which isn't written for the Kaiser?

Willing to donate a USD 100, once my TYTN II is Fix it. I bouth the ATT Tilt from ATT, brought ot Mexico (same bandwith) the phone works OK, but I cannot hook it to the 3g Network. It looks like os connected but I cannot navigate...?

I think ther might be some ATT setting that does not allow me to navigate, so I was trying to flash the ROM (un branded) can you help me?

Which Sim Card are you using? The one from AT&T or Telcel? Telcel has 3G coverage in Mexico but if you have an AT&T simcard and even do it's a 3G I don't thing that you could pick the 3G bandwith from Telcel. Also if you want to use the Internet a think that you have to enable the GPRS settings first from Telcel dial *264 or send a message to 789 and write ALTA

If you want to flash your Tilt you have to use HardSPl first and then pick a ROM of your choice.

I've made the official update to wm6.1 and kaiser just got crazy. I've often a device.exe crash.

Can I install this original ROM without losing warranty? Or i do need to install a new spl first to downgrade?

I have just bought an AT&T Tilt and would like to flash the most recent Deafult Shipped HTC rom with Windows Mobile 6.1 onto it. I have been ready through the posts and the wiki here but i am still a bit confused about exaclty what i need to do and i don't want to risk stuffing up my device.

From my reading i understand i need to download a ROM and download a SPL, and im asuming that the correct radio for my device will be included in the shipped HTC ROM, am i right? But i am unsure what is the latest versions of all these things and which ones to download, i am also unsure of what exatly to do after i have downloaded them. I am also aware that i will need the keyboard fix in the other thread, but im assuming that it is releativly simple once the new rom is loaded.

It would be greatly apprciated if someone could help me with this, so i can get my device up and running minus the at&t stuff. I am fairly a fairly competent computer user and a really quick learner so it wont take long at all to run me through what i need to do. I am available on MSN if some very kind person would like to help me that way, or just post here, that works too!

Coz i've upgrade the radio rom 1.71.09.01 which is not compatible to WM 6.0
Problem fixed after downgrade the radio to 1.27.15.32
