I can't wait to upgrade my c800 to this latest ROM by itje (touch-IT v2.0 for wing). The only thing is i still not sure this ROM is suitable with my c800. Please advice me on this or anybody have any ideas to upgrade my c800. Feel bored with WM5.0

I am about to try something soon. I flashed to orignal tmo rom and copied the connection sharing registry entry and am going to add it when i flash to itje's rom. I hope that helps and its the end of the whole problem.

Let us know how it goes. I tried another cab file on this forum that included registry settings and not just these two files but it still didn't work. Same issue - the laptop kept waiting for an IP address. Whatever the problem is it must be specific to T-Mo settings.

I tried it but after adding the registry settings internet sharing doesn't wanna connect. So I am gonna try one more thing which is that i am gonna reflash to the orignal tmo rom and then run internet sharing for a little bit and view the registry settings to see if it displays any interface names. as the registry setting i imported doesn't have any settings under interface.

Well i can't get it to work. I tried a couple of different possibilities. Seems like i can't get the interface names to stay. Everytime i enter the interface names in the registry and turn on internet sharing they disappear. I am not gonna waste any more time on this. I am not sure what is causing this.
ITJE it would be nice if you could also release a cab file for internet sharing to work or if you know why the heck is this not working ??.

maybe its ipnat.dll even though i copied it from the tmobile rom.

Well i had become a little obsessed to solving this problem so i took the rom and cooked it with internet sharing and now it works fine. :D
But it will still be nice if someone can make a cab for this also.

Does anyone have any procedure for changing the programs launched by the Touchflo cube?

I see where you set the executable, but I am unsure how or when you need to specify parameters, and how to set an icon for the new program.

Should the icons be .ico or can you use .jpg? and what directory should they be in? and what size do they need to be?

Quick question. The keyboard in this rom, the NotSoBlackKeyboard, is that a cab file or is it just a couple images that I need to change. I upgraded to the Touch-IT 2.3 but I like this keyboard layout.

However I have some small issues and it doesn't seem other people are having them. I hope you may have a solution:

1) The screen becomes less responsive. Originally I can close apps with my fingers by tapping the little "X" at the upper right corner. Now I have to use stylus. Is there a way to change the responsiveness of the screen?

2) My screen updates slower than the stock Wing rom. I have changed the pagepool to 6 mb and also tried 8 mb and 12 mb, all the same. I have also overclocked from 247 MHz to 299 MHz, still screen refreshes slowly. I can see the system is responding, but it just takes a while for the screen to catch up. Any ideas?

Hello, I just installed the Lite version on my Wing, but for some odd reason the drop down box on the top right side of my my today screen is gone. The one that acts as a task manager. Also when i close applications like for example WMP it is just minimized instead of closed? Help much appreciated.

I am in the same situation. Anyone figured it out yet? Everything else is working fine, is there a registry hack for this or something?! Please HELP!

The only thing that i want is the cube and the finger scrollin features. Can i disable the other features, like the new Windows Media PLayer theme, the phone theme and the home screen theme.

i've downloaded the touch file unzipped it onto my storage card. Now it said it was going to set sum microsoft office as my default and i set it to save everything onto my storage card. I now have a windows folder and an it touch folder. i extracted the it touch folder and when i get into that it brings me to my today update. Once i'm there i'm basically lost

This is the original version. The 2.3 is the "newer" one.

I haven't tried this rom yet but i have seen that problem and it i normally fixed with re-aligning the screen mate. But I have downloaded it now and hope to play with it tonight.

Ok i guess not only are you new to XDA but you must be new to your own phone.

You can normally goto a picture and open it . Then click menu which will pop-up a screen. There is a choice "Set as Today Background..." click this and you will see the picture with a transparency Level under it. Set that number to what you feel comfortable with. Now you have a solution. Hope that helps mate. And welcome to XDA ......

One specific thing, cube doesnt always pull up. It looks like the faster i swipe, the more likely it is to work. Anyone have any tips to using the touch? I'm really new to this.

When i get the time i will. Sure would have liked to have found that lite version. I think he made some good roms, I did find some of the ones he made and they ran great. I've got TouchIT v3.0 signed on the Wing right now and its doing alright - but - its just a little slow for me, even with OC at 247 boost 260. And even with Davids freeware keyboard fix, I still miss the IE open key on the keyboard. So I'll cook up a wicked rom when I have some time, but was hoping to find a "Lite" with the Touch cube, biggy space.

Ideas - maybe a not itje rom? :cool:

i'm back on ttran's roms now - they work on the WING out of the box so to speak. i like itje's rom designs, but even though it sounds trivial, having that IE key combo working on the qwerty keyboard is something i'm used to.

here's a quick question that i run into often re: HTC Album (ie) how do I set it to open directly from the cube link?

I'm on Open Touch 5.2 original now.. loving it! :D

btw, this current OpenTouch v5.2 ROM is the bomb!! this is the best one yet! just an observation is that the cube included in this ttran01 rom is a lot more responsive than the others i have used. if you go for the BLACK theme, its easier to read everything. man its so much faster, i didnt even think of over-clocking for the first day i used it! :D

an yo! i been thinking of cooking up my own roms yeh, but it will be hard to outdo anything that ttran01 is doing - at least for the WING people.

so it turns out i didnt need to find that itje basic rom after all, tho i've seen that ttran has been recooking itje's roms, so maybe this is a version of the one i was originally looking for. dont really know, all i know is that i love my WING now thanks to these guys.

Update : I installed the ROM on my phone.
I was affraid my phone was bricked, because when i did the update process, the phone give me the next message : "Unknown Error"
The flash program told me to hard reset the phone, I did this, then the HTC screen came up.......
It took a while before the phone was starting, so i thought the phone was bricked :D
But it works fine now.

But every time when i listen to music I can't open other application Like reading ebook or online read news... the music player( Mortplayer, GTS player or even audio manager, wm player) just quit automatically in 5 or 8 seconds once I open another program.

Is any one has same problem?
I have second version t-mobile Rom. I have 22mb program storage and 22.5 free program memory at startup. I have battery status 1.06 version i over clock to up to 299mhz. I have it set up to cpu scaler. Which 201 original, 201 minimal, 247max and 299 boost. It will only boost to 299 when needed and reverts back to 201 automatically. I have all the stock apps, deleted t-zones, all my email clients, 3 web browsers a coreplayer, memmaid, kimona play, resco explorer and my device runs smooth thanks to the added memory from pagepool 6mb tweak. My wing never freezes, everything runs without a hitch, so why would i want to upgrade to a rom because it looks pretty. i can care less about looks. What i want is speed and efficiency. It seems that people are having a lot of problems with these custom roms. From what i understand you only have 1 mb more program memory (23). All that trouble to lose certain features, and overclock to 247mhz.? Don't understand the risk of bricking your phone, lose certain features, just for phone to look pretty?
