SPB Weather, Battery Status, Softkey Changer, um, i think thats it right now. how does that HTC Home work? i see all this stuff about it but i never see any links to (except modded 5 tabs or more ones) or how to install it. is it just a cab or does it require modding?

Just read this. It's a cab file that you need to install. Its near the bottom of the post (the htc home plugin). I used the customizer to change the default music player to htc audiomanager. But you can customize everything with HTC HOme customizer.

Huh. Duprade, i don't know about minimo. It's more than a little unstable and uses ALOT of memory. If you're not opposed to paying money (as evident from all your SPB programs), you should use opera.

He has that in his list too. :)

Oh. i guess i sorta assumed he meant opera mini. Full blown Opera is the way to go. Dunno why one would have Minimo AND Opera, though. I would never even USE minimo, not after the mini disaster unpleasantness.

I agree minimo is a disaster and the worst memory monger I have ever seen and yes opera is the way to go

opera is my main browser.

I just have minimo for the hell of it. I've always supported mozilla products, and I just like to play around with it, but I agree it isn't all that good. But as Mike pointed out, if you look thru the list, Opera is on there.

first of all, you're assuming they are all registered. My original post says I just had my phone replaced yesterday, so they could all be under trial.

second, assuming they were all registered, maybe :
I'm loaded
I make good money where I work
I'm a trust fund kid
Mom & dad are loaded...
Maybe I own SPB
Maybe I'm a psychic, and I guess the serial numbers...

hahaha...the possibilities are endless..

Duprade, I believe that you're the filthy rich loaded psychic owner of SPB that has a second job that also pays you alot of money, which your loaded parents feels proud that they've given you several trust funds just in case if you made less than a quarter of a billion dollars a year:D.

I agree, Opera browser is the way to go, I just have to free up some space, as I am also installing other interesting apps for other phone threads on this site. And I tried the minimo and it ate up memory in my device like hummers drink gas. Decision decisions.:p

Ouch. IF you're the psychic owner of SPB whose parents are rich, i'm george bush.
But then again.....this is the internet.

ooo! I just thought of this one! Another conclusion I could have mentioned would have been that I'm a secret agent, and I broke into SPB headquarters, and stole all the serial numbers along with the N.O.C. list of all SPB employees who are living and posting on XDA's site under assumed identities.

I had to get past the voice activated security scan, followed by the retina scan just to get in... then once in the room, I had to negotiate the obstacles inside : First is voice sensitive, anything above a whisper, will set it off. The second one senses the temperature even the body heat of an unauthorized person in the room can set it off if the temperature rises by a single degree. The temperature is controlled by an air duct system 30 feet above the floor. The vent is guarded by a laser net. The third one is on the floor, and it's pressure sensitive. Just the slightest increase in weight will set it off. If any of these 3 sensors are set off will trigger an automatic lock down. Let me tell you gentlemen, that all 3 systems, are state of the art.

I tried PIEPlus once, months ago... but I can't remember why I didn't like it, and then I found Opera and I started using it instead.

I've been using Opera Mobile for a while. Maybe it's my set-up but this program is slow as all get up. pIE is faster than Opera on my device. Maybe because I installed it to the memory card? Who knows. It's just too slow for use and for something I paid for, it's a real waste of funds.
