just a quick question.. IPL? SPL?

ok. it says this in the tri-color screen:

HERM100
IPL-1.04

HERM100
SPL-1.40.Olipro

ok. so i download the Hard-SPL-V7 and it works. and it says that up there on my boot loader. but what is my bootloader version? 1.40? or 1.04? and what is this talk of the SPL-2.10.Olipro. how do i get that? im confused :(

oh another thing. why does it freeze on the GSM- part when i use the SDcard method? anyone? help :) thank you

the latest bootloader is 2.10.Olipro (the latest official one I've released for general consumption)

to flash it, please do remember NOT to put your phone in bootloader and to have activesync synced.

IPL is Initial Program Loader, and is generally not too exciting.
SPL is Secondary Program Loader and this one handles flashing etc and is the one with the exciting crap you need to patch.

I ve asked how to fix it about 100 times on this forum and my device is still bricked :)
