PeekPocket (taste the joke... :) ) is a new Wifi sniffer. His MAIN advantage is : No installation !
Just copy the EXE file onto your machine... and Voila !
The functions are similar to other tools like this. Cherry on the cake, it automaticaly pick the colors of your theme... What an harmony ! ;)
To me,one step further than Hitchicker, because there is no need of latest .NET Compact Framework...

will this work with gps?.....as in logging the AP's with longitude and latitude co-ordinates. WiFiFoFum is my choice at the moment which is also free but I think it requires the .NET framework....but this definitely looks promising.

As far as i can see - no gps option included...see screenshots...

Another advantage that this has over WiFiFoFum is it's ability to "see" wireless AP's that are not broadcasting their SSID.
Two things: First, the Maximize only displaying the strength is kinda redundant, I never seem to use it, but that's just me. Second, would it be possible to be updating the History graphs even when they are not active so you can jump to an existing History of that signal rather then starting fresh?
Anyways, awesome work.

Yes I think its possible to do it, that program just show wireless signals around, İt shows signal strenght by %
You can also take graph and history

In TyTn II, you have this :
Settings->Connections->Wi-Fi
It does the same thing like Peek Pocket, right?
Because it can detect nearby Wi-Fi ap.

Heys guys what am I doing wrong???
I have a HTC HD2 (OZ Telstra version).
Im after a WIFI scanner. Ive downloaded Peekpocket V1.4 and Airomap16 , unziped, extracted and loaded them both , done anything and everything I can read or do about these programmes but all I get is these exe files loading onto my phone (loaded from save on storage card) but no information in the programme.
I can see the little flashy thing happening on these programmes so Im assuming it is connecting to my GPS (right?) ... but no info?
Please help. Im going O/S and need it or something similar very soon
Thanks for all the posts
