this question has been asked and answered over a hundred times in different threads in this forum.it all depends on which carrier u r on and how & where u use ur phone.To be more precise,every carriers network is strong in some areas and gets weaker in some.every network has a less or rather blank signal areas.There's no definite answer and conclusion as to which Radio Rom is the best.To some Faria 02.19.11 suites,while others favour T-mobile02.69.11 Radio rom,still some prefer cingular 2.25.11.On the average Radio Rom 02.19.11 is considered to be stable n less of signal drops,well,as i said every one has his preferences :)

GPRS/EDGE is directly related to ur signal strenght.better the signal strenght better the gprs/edge connectivity.There r somereg tweeks for gprs/edge.but i don't think,they make much of a difference,the difference id hardly noticrable.For tweeks plz search the forum or the web.
