Me thinks it's bricked Captain :( any idea's ?

Sorry, newbie question, but before I have to use my MDA Vario 2 as a door stop, does anyone know if it is possible to get out of the Multi Coloured Screen ? our office had a power cut while I was updating from WM5 to WM6 and now it is stuck on the following screen:

HERM300
IPL-1.01

HERM300
SPL-1.40.Olipro

USB or Serial (Depending if I have the usb cable connected)

Obviously I cant connect to the phone as it is not booting and Active Sync is not connecting so I can upgrade.

Am I buggered like a cat in battersea dogs home ?

OK, false Alarm, was able to recover using a hard re-set + power on button and then load the original SPL loader ! phew ! :cool: RTFM me thinks !

Tell me about it ;) I was, how can you say "*hitting bricks", but it's all working now. I feel so like a virgin, I firstly purchased a ROM off Ebay and then when that didn't work I had a search on the web and found this great site :D Now to find out more about custom apps !

:( I spoke way too soon, Everything was perfect and then half a hour ago I changed a setting in the advance configuration section about ext ROM, took a telephone call and then re-started the phone..................now it just hangs at the WM6 splash screen !
