The unit I was supposed to buy came today and I was looking it over with the guy. He says that it's barely a month old and he hardly used it. But when we inserted my 3G sim and fired it up, the 'NO GSM' message came and there was no reception. Also, the unit froze almost for a minute while trying to access, the phone settings, call duration and hardware identity. Now I can understand this if it was a bad rom flash, but the guy says that nothing was touched. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, does this mean an impending hardware failure of some sort or just one of the inexplicable things, like a small japanese man being able to bend time and space? Please, your comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.
