Its a fun little toy but isn't really useful at the moment. Can't do a single thing with anything that uses a dial pad on screen and none of the ok buttons work for me.

yeah its just a concept, but would people actually use this if i had to develop it more, with the new flash just around the corner nothing would be impossible, but i want to know if people would use it, that is its basic purpose:) if people do like it i will further it and make it able to send sms, and make calls etc...

Nice "flash lite" programme.
Is anything configurable?
Only 1.2% CPU Usage, the cube from ByKa takes up to 70% of CPU Usage and drains the battery.
Continue the good work ;)

Can,t wait to see the fnal product. I like the dark theme you have going for it. If I were you I would give it a flash and style animatable icons and movable icons. I see where you are going though...

Not sure if I'd use it much (iPhone gui makes things way to easy to access :) ) but I would use it to show it off. Seems simple enough for others to fully rely on fully and is graphically pleasing.

Oh yes, if it really worked I would use it. It looks great, much better than iPhone wannabe skins. I have to admit I do currently use an iPhone skin because it's simply usefull. I like the Prada style much better though.

the interface looks great. is there a way we can change the destination of the menu items . . . such as, contacts opens icontact or pocketcm.
joshuawittstock
5th October 2007, 05:12 PM
ok , well almost done :D i linked menu's to different apps, for e.g when you open phone book it will show you a menu asking whether you would like to use icontact, pocket cm etc... are there any special "requests"? ( things that you would like to see in this project? ) im also planning todo a rss reader. thanks :D

lama, you'll need flash lite to run that.
joshuawittstock
6th October 2007, 08:02 AM
lama, you must first get adoble flash lite 2.1, then install it on your device. after you have installed it, soft-reset your device, and load prada.swf into MY Documents, run it off your phone and tell me if everything works ok, e.g battery meter, signal status, clock Many thanks i appreciate the help guys :D

i think i found a solution: Bryht Flash Player 2.0
this is an alternative flash player and it works with wm2003!
I just tried your app and i think it works :)
the most buttons are working too (the "games" button do not work, but i think thats normal...)
Good job!

hey guys, im really sorry for such a long delay :) just been really busy at work. ok, so now i need your help i am a beginner at flash so i cant make a app so you can customize shortcuts like the launcher at www.whoneedsaniphone.com. But i can create a menu with different links on. so i need to know what you guys would like me to add to the shortcuts, e.g. contacts: pocketcm and icontact. i have updated it a bit and will upload shortly, once again sorry for such a delay. i would like to see a link to the resco file explorer and the tcmp media player!
could you create a counter for new sms and missed calls on the today screen?
joshuawittstock
11th October 2007, 07:47 PM
lamandrion will work on those shortcuts, could you also please provide where i could find them? as i said im still a beginner at flash, but trust me i am working on a missed call and new sms notification. Thanks, josh.

hey joshua,
you can find the media player here: http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/ and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Core_Pocket_Media_Player
i think this player is one of the best and itīs freeware!
And here is the resco file explorer:
http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/
there is a 14-days-trail version to test this app...
iīve got a "small" problem at the moment... i have to use the "Bryht Flash Player" to run your app! and SkTools says the Bryht Flash player uses nearly 50% of my CPU power!
I canīt use the "normal" flash player, because i have wm2003se!
is there an alternative flash player with less cpu usage?
P.S: i donīt know if this could help you to run the app faster, but this might be interesting for you, joshua: http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=4953.0

I would prefere this kind of clock:
http://img86.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clock8gz8.swf
and i already tried to decompile it to .fla , but i have no idea how flash works so i canīt use this clock
you can download the font and the clock .fla and .swf:

Hello Joshua, just tried lG Prada first time, looks very impressive, can't wait to see what happens next.
BTW, when I run from the Start.swf the animation loads great then it goes into a endless error loop that it cannot launch home.swf. Started from Home.swf and no probs.
