I've recently just switched to O2, and have discovered that they have a (part-time, apparently) EDGE network. This is all well and good, apart from the fact that it's not there all the time and the little E icon sometimes turns back to G.
The problem is that the phone lights up every time the icon changes. I am wondering if this is something that anyone else has experienced, and if there is anything I can do to stop it from happening.
