I ported the Official HTC Artemis WM6 NLD to Wizard successfully. It is a 5.2.1620 Build 18125.0.4.2 ROM and I think i am going to continue working on this one and leave it as original as it is, only compatible for the Wizard. I will try to release the pro + home version but not the touch version. Why? because the Artemis port seems to work without any of the trouble and bugs I have with this translated version... So for those who are willing to have an almost HTC original dutch ROM stay tunned.... thnx for the support keep you all updated...

The official one, I removed the TNT skins and replaced them with original. I have added the Black Comm Manager. I only added the mui files and edited the initflash.dat so all file are set to the right place. Owww. and the camera so it's dutch.

No I didn't use Microwave although I think it will work for the base kitchen.

I'll maybe give some screenshots, but it's just a basic rom so no new flashy stuff (ow and its dutch).

And for those who care the pagepool is 12 MB in the new version and in the old one it was 6 MB....why because the 12 MB is more stable and I prefer a more stable version over a more storage version.

Nobody found any new bugs or have anything to say or want to change about this release or the old one, I like to have feedback or tips so I can work on a nice kitchen.

I tried to delete it from startup folder but then there are problems with starting up. I want it to start only on a Hard Reboot, and integrate it in the rom so that you folks don't have to delete it after the first boot.

The whole kitchen is officially in WWE and I only changed the MUI files and editted most of the RGU's, CPL's, DLL's, MUI's, EXE's and DLL's. It can be done by editting the MUI but it takes a while so..this will be done later...

I didn't tested the whole touch theme (Home, Cube and finger scrolling) I know that if you want finger scrolling to work you have to replace the touch.dll in the kitchen for the touch one. I tested the Home plugin and that one worked (English). I will work on the touch version but first I want I a descent normal Dutch kitchen. Just keep comming back ones in a while and before you know the touch version will be released.

start-berichten-menu-extra-opties-*mms-servers-nieuw
Daar kun je de servernaam - gateway - poortnr - serveradres etc instellen maar je komt het menu niet meer uit.
links onder de de softkey(eigenschappen) doet niets en de softkey rechts onder (opslaan) ook niet.
In de wm5 rom is de softkey links onder OK en rechts onder Annuleren.

Verder werkt het perfect alleen die mms klopt niet denk ik..

Sorry haven't tested that yet but thanks for the feedback, I will work on that. You don't have to shutdown your device you can also use the red hangup button..

but I encounterd 3 possible problems
1: When the MDA is attached to Vista for synchronsing it is not very responsive while using the touchscreen.

2. I have a problem using GPRS. Sending and receiving MMS is Ok, but it will not start when I want to go on the internet or when I want to update my SPB weather.
Trying to connect to the internet gives me an error message: "Ik kan geen verbinding maken met de huidige verbindings instellingen......" (edit) The same happens when I start WLM
Updating SPB Weather dos not start the GPRS at all

3. Most of the time I only have half an icon for the strength of the phone or volume

anybody having these problems, or having a solution?

Now i tried to call voicemail (t-mobile) and had a message i wanted to be deleted (press #2) but that didn't work.

Is somebody else formiliar to this problem.

I found a solution. I have some cabfiles saved from an old TMO extended Rom. I installed them and now all connctions are working fine.

I'm still not sure about using this ROM, there are quite some hangups on my phone

i had the same problem (t-mobile), the fix is: go to settings->edit connection->leave the name (click next) ->if it's correct the accespoint name is at your phone "internet-act", change that to "internet"->next->next DONE

Try it, it worked for me

First of all, good work!! :D
I will keep this rom on my Wizard.

If you don't want to show the welcome screen at soft-reset you can start the verkenner and remove "Welcome.lnk" from \windows\Opstarten.

Also, a really nasty bug prevents DTMF signals while calling. When I call my voicemail (T-Mobile) or the Rabofoon the computer doesn't respond on the pressed numbers. Also, changing the settings of the toetsenblok From Korte tonen to Lange tonen doesn't seem to solve this.

The only provider I didn't tested was T-Mobile. I didn't encountered any problems with testing with other providers. Can you post the TMO cabs for those who uses T-Mobile or give them to me so I can put them on page 1 for download. Thnx

Artemis port works with some small problems....
On the welcome screen and some others it uses times new roman font instead of tahoma:confused:
Used the HTC Camera 3 not the HTC Camera 4 like in Artemis (can't get it to work anymore)
Removed the FMradio app.
Removed the Mouse app.
Removed MMS 3.5 and replaced it with 3.0 from orginal WM5 Rom (having some problems with some DLL's)
Didn't Remove Intend Java Midlet (Think to let it stay)
Fixed all Icons in Settings
Still workin on Extended ROM

Update 12 nov. '07
Artemis ported ROM starts with the Artemis extended ROM (without the TOMTOM plugin), the Camera software from Artemis is even working with Wizard camera.

What have to be done or changed:
FMradio app. removed
Mouse app. removed

Remove Java Midlet and add Esmertec

Some icons are missing in settings.

Add HTC Network Wizard

How can I change the splash screen(s) (res: 640x400)

And is it possible to change my rom to dutch?
I already tried hard with little succes; language changed well but probably made a few mistakes in translating initflashfiles.dat

Seems like a known issue with TNT!

Sorry for not updating... but because the further I tried to build it the less it worked.

Seems like a known issue with TNT!

Change this reg value to 0 and it will work. :)

Not a big issue but it doesn't show up, i tried to move de file to start en put a string in the registry but no luck....

the Microphone is a tranlation fault but not mine, look in other official dutch rom's.

I'm quiet busy with my job so I try to work on the Artemis port as much as I can.... with any luck I hope to release it before Christmas...:)

I have put youre rom on my wizard but since then i cant sent or recieve texmessages because at the menu of textmessages only thing that stands there is Email-account opties. How can i fix this?

Finally i found a WM 6 Dutch rom for my MDA Vario.
it's really working great i hope that you also have the touchflo option for this rom soon. then it's complete in my opinion.

Only one recently i changed the splash screen and the update program told me that this was a english version (translated back into Dutch) is that correct? Main thing is that the rom itself is in Dutch.

I just stumbled upon this thread, having tried several other (English) ROM's. Too bad I'm at work right now, otherwise I would have tried it right away. Now i"ll just have to wait till tonight!

Hope this one works better than the other's (English) I've tried. They all seem to work all right, but there's always one or two things going wrong. I'll let you know asap.

I installed the basic version of this Rom, because I wasn't really satisfied with the home version.
This one seems to run o lot better on my MDA Vario.

I have one small problem:

"Instellingen" (settings) disappeared from the menu "start" . I don't know why.

Does somebody know how to put it back?

Does somebody know a registry tweak to hide the sim contacts? I tried SKTools 4, but they keep coming back into view

Grrrr, I definitely do NOT like rapidshare. I just DL'ed the Wizard_Love Rom, to create a stable base. Now I want to DL this ROM and I have to wait for another 52 minutes before the DL starts.

I'm really looking forward to trying this one, but it'll take a little bit longer :(

Mmmm, same thing's happening as it did with one of the other ROMS I tried. When I first try to sync it with my PC, it asks me what I want to sync. One of the options I choose is to sync my files, but when it comes to the actual syncing, the icon of 'Bestanden' simply disappears and there's no syncing of files done. The others all sync without a problem.
And when I try to re-activate the syncing of my files (in ActiveSync, through Extra, Options, the little square that I can tick off is not even there!!

Sound familiar to anyone?

Hi all! First of all, keep up the great work!

I'm kinda newb with WM, so pls dun mind my silly questions... But I've just cooked the WizaNLD Basic+ Home Green 0.9.6.4 ROM succesfully (100%), but my ROM is still the same old one.. I've tried it 4 times now, but still no WM6... How come? I've already unCIDlocked my mda.. What could this problem be? Most important, what can I do about this?? I got a G3 phone, dunno if this helps... ;>

Then it's not CID unlocked. CID unlocked is something else then SIM unlocked, read the first stickies in the Wizard -> WM6 of this forum

Great work! ROM OS: 3.13.2.0 NLD works fine on my QTEK9100nl (and faster than before WM5)
PushMail stays connected :) over GPRS.

When I connected it to the Parrot CK3100 the language (of the carkit) swapped to english, but I could set it manualy to Dutch (so no prob!).

Parrot CK3100 Microfoon werkt niet meer :mad: . Bij aanmelden op carkit springt hij naar ingesprek (ben opnieuw aan het flashen, misschien iets foutgegaan bij een installatie van een programma (TTN audio over BT)?). Met vervolg...

To activate the sounds of the Start Menu use the file: WM6 Sound Scheme v2.cab
