Hi guys

Is there any way to disable the tray bar in WM 6.
Im using Helmi ROM.

I was just wondering, because i see in some WM5 versions its not there.

Thanks!

Try this

;=======================================
;remove all Icons from Traybar
;=======================================
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power]
"ShowIcon"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ScreenRotate]
"ShowIcon"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\WirelessMgr]
"Flags"=dword:00000004

But this just removes certain icons. Some programs like Palringo have their own tray icon.. any idea on how to remove that one? It just takes up too much space on the screen and I can't get rid of it without a Soft Reset.

I don't know palringo but it's likely that it has its own options menu in which you can check/uncheck traybar icon. If not, search the registry for palringo to see if there is a setting that looks like the ones mentioned above. Or perhaps an ini file in the palringo folder?

VJToggleToday :)

I noticed this comment a little late ;-)
I agree that VJToggleToday is a very nice utility, but it toggles top- and bottom-bars, not the tray bar. I wish I knew a simple way to disable/enable the tray bar in a single click

Seeking same answers... VJ's toggle can be used to remove tray... look:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360456&highlight=icon+tray

But VJ's prog seems to be an alpha... and not listed in hes site. I'll give it a try but if it's in the memory all the time... I won't use it. Don't like those tweakers messing my memory and causing all the troubles you can not then solve...

Seems TodayToggle is not resident in the memory - that's good. But it does not remove the _tray_ only the "softkeylabels" -bar.
